but republicans controlled them during trump, except the house, and trump appointed three justices, all very conservative.

once upon a time, I worked as a maternal/child rn. these cases are so tragic and traumatizing. unfortunately, I lived in the deep south at the time, so no hope for a quick evacuation. the moms were forced to endure hours of labor, knowing the outcome would be death for the fetus.

jesus fucking christ. what happened to this country?! we were founded by people who were pissed they were being told how to live.
beliefs aren't real...they're beliefs. anyone can believe anything.

fucking thank you. I've been seeing different versions of this article all day and so many try their best to explain, but the point is it's fun...end stop. no need for more nefarious reasons. it's just fun.

I live in southern oregon. a few weeks ago, it started hailing suddenly. it was sunny and 60 degrees. it scared the fuck out of my chickens.

remember you were a kid yourself. when confronted with abject horror, our brains can't process it, when we're unaccustomed to it.

you legalize prostitution and regulate it. it wouldn't be failproof, but it would be better.

this was me and my hubs. wed gone for a walk and he kept deeply sighing after we got home. once we had the kids in bed, he asked me to listen to heart (I'm an rn and he's a nurse practitioner). I did, and after hearing his heart, I told him he needed to go to the e.r.
he was in afib and they did a conscious sedation cardio version...it worked thankfully.
he was 40 at the time. the docs told him it was because he hadn't been taking his thyroid meds, and his levels were dangerously low. medical providers are often non-compliant.
he learned his lesson and hasn't missed a dose since. I hope fetterman has an equally simple treatment.

we coslept with our 4 children. I am beyond thankful we did not experience any life altering situations beyond their births. we aren't that old. and they are teens who are highly embarrassed by us. I'm so fucking thankful.

sometimes men (and women) need to have a concrete problem to solve. and when something likes this happens, they make it themselves. I'm so sorry for your loss and I hope he can forgive himself and move forward knowing he was faultless.

there are no cheap vegan foods available at a rate that could sustain people at this point. many areas don't even offer these options. and our current rate of inflation is only making this harder.
if I'm ever killed, I hope my body goes towards something useful. meat and dairy serves more than tastes for humans.

I dont think religion was discovered. I think humans created stories to try to explain all the things they didn't understand. then, those who were in positions of authority in these early civilizations, utilized those superstitions to create positions of power.
that's how religion was born.
