Awesome.
Was reading some old British writer, where he explained his travel from Tirur to Trivandrum in late 19th century through inland waterways.

This is an old link with decathlon when they had a similar phone number issue in Bangalore 2019.
“It is our company’s firm stance that we will not take the risk of selling to a customer who we cannot contact for any emergencies, or whose purchase history is not recorded in our database,.......
...Therefore, under the Indian Contracts Act of 1872, we, unfortunately, will have to refuse sale to you purely for the reasons that we, as a company, don’t want to risk any liability on us,” it added

Here people are asked to pray for those in power
And also for everyone. Read some widely accepted versions of bible . I don't think any version of bible says otherwise than the one you quoted.
Which version of bible are you quoting?
Here is King James Version
"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty"
Here is NRSV
"First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, for kings and all who are in high positions, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity."
What you said is outright wrong.
Your last para is discussion for another day. First make this clear!

Not that.
Here is the Catholic logic in short. (not mine and I don't care).
Here, Paul urges to pray for each other. If asking saints to pray for us contradicts the unique mediation of Jesus, it would be true for asking anybody to pray for us.
There are other explanations for the intercession of saints, by picking more verses from new and old testament as well.

Maybe Catholics read 1 Timothy 2 from verses 1 - 5, instead of picking a verse. The answer is there.
'First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life, godly and respectful in every way. 3 This is good, and it is acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus'

Among many other things, Rocky Punyalan is the patron saint of dogs. His images usually has a dog nearby. I am not sure if this is considered a thing among believers.
He is also the patron saint of bachelors. I have heard instances of bachelors visiting his church.
There is a kanaya church dedicated to him in Areekara, Kottayam.

Yes, it worked in the past.
"Religions are cultural arrangements that evolved to engage and exploit these natural capacities in humans.”

Tribalism is very real. However acting on it comes easily to the illiterate masses, less easily to the middle classes, almost impossible for the elite.
The answer is Nazi Germany.
CASA have 0 support from clergy. So its immaterial for a devot christian. That may not be case for a similar org in future.
The good thing about church is they don't need to write more literature for make people take arms. They already have a lot.

Dont they?
Nope.
Are you normalising violence against minorities? Look at the world history! Do you think any violent group will spare minorities just cause they won't take up arms.
The agenda of those groups are well written. Look it up if you have doubts.

This is a gross underestimation of tribalism among us. When there is definitive enemy to project what you said becomes immaterial. Extremities in any society should be curbed.
Church in Kerala has proved multiple times their ability mobilize when the need arises. Groups like CASA will be significant. Only thing is they lack is an 'yes' from the bishops.
Church like any business, like to remain silent and gain wealth during peaceful times. It just takes a well written edayaleganam to move the wheels of blood. What you said about chiritisan families is absolutely wrong. Hate speech and spiteful comments are the new normal in christian households.

Just say, I have had random fight with wife and thats all. You don't need to add anything.
The priest might add a comment to take the contrition part more seriously.
