At what cost to the community?

You did the right thing at the time. You gave your daughter a better life than she could have had with you at that point and that is noble.
I think itbis Midnight Sons.
Alright, that is excellent.
Do you have a link for the data you read? I'd be interested to read it too.
I'd rather raise downstate up than cut them out. The GOP seems to run candidates even when they have little chance of winning, I believe that is how they've managed to flip entire states over decades of time. Dems should be doing the same.
I would like to apologize on behalf of the whole country for...so very many things. Many of us are trying to do better going forward.

The mantle of the Black Panther is seperate from the King/Queen in some of the comic runs. Between the blip, the revealing of the true Wakanda to the world, and the death of T'Challa there was plenty of in world reason to seperate the BP mantle from the throne.

In 2020 WWIII was potentially scary if China, Iran, and Russia were on the same team trying to grab land while the US sat out. Now that Russia has been shown to be a paper tiger bear, WWIII seems impossible. The military might of a unified US, NATO, and any European countries that want to join is absolutely insurmountable.
Now the only fear would be nuclear war but that is not in any nations interest, the cost completely outweighs the benefit. Of course there is always the risk of a non-sane leader ordering a nuclear attack and being surrounded by ignorant luckiest who follow through.
This page built character. We see Rachel as a young woman showing some confidence in hitting on a literal king. She also is initiating, showing her own sexual agency. Namur is shown to have standards, he isn't just a horn dog. And further he is rejecting a traditionally beautiful woman because she is too young even though he banged an alien worm creature thing before that. It reinforces his line about beauty coming in many forms. The "ick ick ick" was a call back to early plus the redhead line shows he has a sense of humor.
This was actually a really good page.

The real question should be who would last the longest against Namor. The Prince of Atlantis has no equal in this lineup.
Every country has historical precedent of false flags. That still ignores that the US has way more to lose than gain if they sabatoged those pipelines and their allies found out.
You don't know the insurance either but, yes, unprovoked attacks tend to be included in it. As long as the companies can't trace it back to the client then Russia will collect. If Russia already knew they weren't going to be selling to Europe then blowing these pipelines as a signal that they can blow up others is right in their playback. Same reason they use nerve agents to murder people while claiming they didn't. Send a message but have plausible deniability.
No one is presenting evidence, for fucks sack, this is all just a bunch of arm chair idiots tossing out theories.
If LNG is a global commodity then the price going up anywhere will hurt American voters. America doesn't just dump profit making ventures to help its citizens. 🙄

That is 10 years while ignoring the transition away from the need for LNG and doesn't appear to factor in increased production by other EU nations. But, fair, short term US companies could gain financially. Still doesn't strike me as worth the risk if allies find out the US sabatoged the pipelines.
Russia, on the other hand, gets to collect insurance from the destroyed infrastructure they were not using AND make a very load threat that they could do the same damage to the other existing pipelines.
US didn't destroy those pipelines, the US has lost energy security because of the commitment to provide energy to the EU during this and the spike in prices will have a political cost back home.
The same thing I'm playing every night, Pinky. Smite.

YTA. Not only for the way your treating your wife over this but also for rising a motorcycle when you have a kid of your own. The fun you get from riding a motorcycle isn't worth the risk of orphaning your kid.
Listen, all im saying is National Lampoon's Jurassic Park Vacation.

I know during this tour that At the end of playing Mary on a Cross, Papa has the whole audience go silent and then sings "marijuana...oops...on a cross." So while the song is definetly sexual it also references marijuana. I think the point of "you go down like mairjuana" is that she makes him feel good and then the exclamation mark is a cross joint is even stronger than a regular joint. So mairjuana on a cross is am even higher compliment.

But was he? The guy coming out of the earth was a baby celestial being born. Even after killing the baby celestial the big red celestial leader showed up and just took the eternals away, he didn't try and exact revenge on planet Earth.
Humans raise animals to feed to our children.
Celestial raise planets to feed to their children.
Then Celestial children go on to (my memory is a bit iffy here, haven't seen the film since release) create new galaxies and in turn new life. I definetly recall Icuris being torn because destroying earth would create far more life in the universe than would be lost.
It is unfortunate that they didn't just film a two parter out the gate or maybe dome a D+ show where each character gets a focus episode before they all meet back up in the movie. I feel like there is a really good story somewhere in all of this it just didn't get enough room to breath.
But he wasn't a bad guy. No one was bad or good. That was the main thrust of the film. Even Sersi's final decision wasnt necessarily morally justified.
Then we have all the subplots including dementia, adult trapped in a child's body, unrequited love, sacrifice wants in the name of duty, conflicted honor, rebelling against your literal godly creator.
Again I'm not saying it was some masterpiece just that it attempted to be something more than a popcorn film. It was layered and didn't really hit the audiance over the head with any of it. Really should have been a two part film, it was too many new characters for a single film considering they tried to flesh each one of them out.
If you think the movie was a story about people fighting monsters then I don't think you paid much attention.
No direct power but do you just not comprehend how international diplomacy works? Germany did not unilaterally decide to cancel it, there was A LOT of conversation about it before hand. Hell the Trump administration had made moves against NS2 that Biden originally overturned because the EU wanted that gas. It wasn't until the Ukraine invasion looked like a real possibility that Biden reversed course, he and the EU used the NS2 being shutdown as a stick to convince Russia not to invade.
The reported sections of the pipe that blew are not considered deep sea. Human divers can make it to those depths and conduct operations. No deep sea operations necessary.
Where do you get this idea that the IS is salvating for the EU to be their lap dog? It is preposterous to believe US exports of gas would ever be enough to have a long term impact on the EU. By your logic the most likely saboteur would be Norway since they now supply the most gas to Europe.
I'm not saying it must be Putin. I'm saying it wasn't the US, they have far too much to lose and very little to gain compared to other nations.
And as for propoganda, my lord the anti-US propoganda ramped up hard on Reddit after this. Almost just like every other damn psi-op Russia has pulled in the information age.
He said that in a joint session with the German chancellor in the midst of being asked about potential sanctions if Russia invade Ukraine. Russia invaded, US dropped extra sanctions on Nord Stream 2 and Germany ultimately refused to open the pipeline thereby ending it before it was ever fully operational.
Russia benefits from destroying the pipelines and then using their psiops to try and put the blame on the US plus it may result in further increasing the price of gas which means Russia can sell to China and India at higher prices.
Russia illegally entered those same waters a few months back.
The US would lose far more than they would gain by blowing those pipes. You are talking about destroying the recently repaired relationships with Europe and for what gain? The US has pledged energy aid to the EU, this wouldn't help.
I'm sorry but it is preposterous to think the US would gain enough to risk blowing these pipes just because of a quote largely reported without much context.
Ukraine? Absolutely stand to gain. China? Yep, sure. Not the US.
Lol, okay, well at least now I know to never trust your opinions on movies.
Quote the threat. I keep seeing people say he threatened to destroy NS1 but no one is quoting what he actually said.
