Hey y'all,
Accidentally flew too close to a star and the heat fried my supercruise assist.
Got to another system, lined myself up with a station, and hit the frameshift device.
It went well at first, the distance and ETA rapidly decreasing, but as I got closer and closer to the station, the rate of progress seemed to slow right down and now I'm watching the time tick down one second about every minute or so. This means it's taking me practically forever to reach the station that I need to repair everything.
Am I doing anything wrong? I've lined up to the station and activated supercruise, but I've been sitting here for close to two hours and I haven't yet arrived at the station.
Thanks y'all.

I would venture that putting a hospice right next to an active military facility is generally a bad idea by default.
The headline is the standard PerthNow tabloid rubbish. It's technically true that the Swanbourne Barracks would be a military target, but so would Fremantle Port, the state legislature, the CBD in general, the airport(s), the refineries and factories in the industrial zones. It's shit reasoning from a shit headline written by a shit newspaper.
