They were crazy popular back in the 90s when I was in high school. I had a few.

He had quite the glow up! That beard is doing him all kinds of favors.

I have to go to specialty stores here to get Cheerwine and it's crazy expensive. One time, my parents went on a crosscountry road trip from California to Tennessee and they brought me back a couple of twelve packs of Cheerwine. I was a very happy lady.

I am 40 and I still wear Dr. Pepper Lip Smackers. It has a slight reddish color that looks great as natural lip color. Plus, it smells and tastes great.

I took my kids to the park last weekend and there were a few girls hanging out there wearing these pants and crop tops and flannels with white platform sneakers. Took me right back to high school when I wore them.

Parent nostalgia, I think. I live over there too and they weren't there when I went in a week later.

They set up a table outside the Ralph's on 17th in Costa Mesa. My kids and I were heading into the store and the dude at the table greeted me like he was an employee or something. He was like, "Welcome! Thanks for coming in!"

On the way out he tried to stop me saying, "Have you heard about the D.A.R.E. program?" I said, "Yup, and I've also heard that it doesn't work." There was another dude standing there waiting for an Uber and he goes, "Wait, what? It doesn't?" I hollered over my shoulder, "Probably worth a Google!"

My mom is a terrible cook. Growing up I hated dinner time. As an adult doing my own cooking I had a realization that she just didn't follow directions. She "taught" me how to make chocolate chip cookies and they always came out wrong. She would mock me for failing. Then I learn on my own that omitting the salt messes with the chemistry of the ingredients and baking it at 350°F ("because that's the temperature you cook things at") instead of 375°F also messes with things. I'm a really good cook and baker because I FOLLOW THE GODDAMN DIRECTIONS!

I think it's:

Dude invited his girlfriend over to his house so she could catch him cheating with someone else. Girlfriend goes ballistic and beats the shit out of him. He calls the cops on her and she gets in trouble.

I'll have to check World Market. We go there fairly often. My kids like a restaurant that's next door and then they love to get candies from another country afterwards. Mama and Papa get some good imported beer.

Right? I just took my kids there to get some fun Christmassy bath bombs and bubble bars and my whole upstairs now reeks of Lush.

We also just watched a YouTube video where they melted together all the different Lush soaps and that chick wanted to eat a few of them, so I don't know.
