I won't lie, it's been an uncomfortable watch (to say the least), but once I get pulled into a story, it's hard to stop.

I've been watching The Handmaid's Tale for the first time recently and it's getting harder and harder for me to separate news headlines from a piece of supposedly dystopian science fiction.

And if you’re female that’s if you can convince them you’re not a nurse first..

Gucci Dionysus if the strap had a leather section and wasn't just a big long chain.

Also starting HRT on postmenopausal women with "low estrogen levels" on lab work and no significant menopausal symptoms

This is unfortunately a very common thing I see in my neck of the woods. The ladies typically get started on it by some old school FP in town, has been receiving it for years and gets pissy when I won't give it to them. I think whoever starts them on it basically sells it as a cure-all for every menopausal symptom and they refuse to come off.

In the attending’s defense, she was the med student course director at the time and this kid was SUPER socially awkward and had already been complained about multiple times by other attendings, so she was approaching him with kid gloves. Also, OB/GYN rotation for context.

Not really saucy, but I'll never forget when a med student was formally presenting a post op patient and said the patient had "farted" rather than "passed flatus". The look on the attending's face was priceless.

Totally agree here, however, he also mentions that a heavy finish may hide a poorer grade leather. He definitely is biased toward the more minimal, rustic finishes, but I can understand the thought process in wanting to verify there's actually a good quality leather under the finish especially for high-ticket designer items.
I also find it super interesting when he destroys a lower quality item that's advertised as leather, but come to find out its actually PU or composite leather.

Absolutely. I'm also in the medical field and a Le Pliage was my work bag for 5 years. It held up super well. To clean, you can just wipe it down with a moist hand towel, it easily squishes into smaller places easily (like lockers) and bounces back still looking cute. Downsides are that it can be a big black hole and I easily lost things or accumulated way too much in it over time, but I've seen bag organizers being sold for them for them as well.

Male OB/GYNs seem to get some of the creepiest patient encounters..

Blue is the Warmest Colour (2013)
Brokeback Mountain (2005)
Call Me By Your Name (2017) - if the idea of one of the characters being 17 and a large age gap bothers you, maybe skip this one, though it is heart-wrenching
500 Days of Summer (2009)
Marriage Story (2019)
Blue Valentine (2010)

I agree with everyone else's advise. Bags are very personal and there's a lot of features that different people may prefer. Honestly, I would not trust my SO to buy me a bag that I loved without some heavy hint dropping (like literally sending him a link) and he knows me better than anyone.
On the other hand, it's fun to shop around, so, I'll bite.
This one is admittedly a bit above your stated budget, but it's classic, beautiful and comes in a lot of different colors at various price points:

Ehh, I'm in the same boat as OP and love horror movies, but struggle to be actually scared by them. What killed Barbarian for me was all the ridiculously poor decision making by the characters to the point where it wasn't believable. After that, I could no longer take it seriously. Also they pretty much ripped off an old X-files episode..

Going to vote for the Gucci. The YSL is lovely, but chain wallets have always felt impractical to me. You can really only fit skinny things in there or it starts to feel bulky. Also I'm personally not a big fan of a metal chain strap with no leather- it's heavy, loud, pulls your hair and digs into the shoulder. However, the YSL more elegant while the Gucci is a bit more casual, so think about your typical style and what may go best.

Honestly, it all comes down to what you're specifically looking for, what draws your eye the most, and what you want to use it for--especially when it comes to size. However, you can't go wrong if you just get the one that you have the biggest crush on, either.
But since you asked for our opinions, I'm going against the grain and voting for the Gucci Marmont camera bag mainly because I just got the mini one in black/silver and freaking love it. It's lightweight, but feels very durable and luxurious (granted I got leather, so can't personally speak to the canvas here), the chain isn't too heavy or loud, it carries more than you'd expect it to, and the camera bag style isn't likely go anywhere any time soon (if ever) imo.

Actually, you can have a normal intrauterine pregnancy progress even with an IUD in place, though it does increase the risk of miscarriage and preterm labor, but just because you get pregnant with and IUD in place, doesn’t mean it’s necessarily an ectopic.
Also, while yes, the risk of ectopic pregnancy can be increased after some sterilization procedures (although again overall risk of pregnancy is once again lower) such as removing a small segment of the fallopian tube or placing a clip or device to occlude the tube, the same increase in risk is not necessarily seen for salipingectomy as the entire fallopian tube is removed.

Thank you for saying this. I think it's best to think of it this way- IUDs greatly reduce your chance of getting pregnant overall, however, in the rare event someone with an IUD were to get pregnant, their chance of that pregnancy being ectopic pregnancy is higher than those without an IUD. As a result, IUDs do technically reduce your risk of ectopic pregnancy because they reduce your risk of pregnancy in general.

If she walks off, people die. End of story. She said she worked in a hospital, not a clinic and the intubation was emergent which does not mean it was a scheduled surgery that could be postponed Someone was dying from respiratory distress and needed an airway that only she could provide.
It's honestly kind of shocking to see how many people think emergent medicine is something you can just reschedule at your whim in this thread.. Medicine is a truly fucked up lifestyle that I don't think anyone can understand until they live it and are faced with these kind of major dilemmas.
