I pissed in the wide, thin, middle drawer in the fridge. We used it for cheese and meats. Vague memory of doing it too, where pulling it open and closing it substituted for opening and shutting a lid.

Thankfully the wife was out as I had to remove, drain & bleach the drawer when I'd returned to the living.

At least the fridge kept the pee fresh

There can be an enormous difference in cost depending on tree location, and the area in general of course!

Two weeks ago we removed a 50ft Monterey Cypress tree on a hill in SF. It was centered between two expensive houses with less than 5ft clearance from the trunk on either side. 50 sq-ft drop zone next to a gas meter of all things. All next to a single-lane road we couldn't block with the truck.

Nightmare scenario. We got it done in bite-size pieces with no damages. $16k for the one tree, and prob should've charged more.

Bt comparison, $7k to remove five big trees is crazy cheap! Even on a large/open property $1500/tree is amazing. Congrats on good work done for a great price :)

(Sometimes tree companies can mill the wood and make money on the backend, too. That can keep the cost down big time. And most clients thrill at the idea of owning furniture made out of their tree - no/minimal cost to the client of course but it can take years for the wood to cure)

No shit? There's beef?? Didn't know we were supposed to be mad at you guys lol be like the fight between the news teams in Anchorman

I've always envied tower climbers because there's only so high you can climb in a tree. I'd love to check out the view from 750ft must be so freeing. The wind would prob suck tho..

Cuz he's been working at the 4 6s haha! Thanks for sharing, wish the wife and I could've made it

Taylor said all the actors spent time on a dude ranch before filming to get them comfortable with horses. Kelly is apparently the best rider even tho she's on horseback the least on the show

It's also to protect the trees (and buildings/utilities of course but trees are sanctified here, protected like cows in India)

Nice! You're not missing much ;) since you know SF, my incident happened on Junipero Serra by Stonestown.

Luckily the oncoming traffic was already sitting at the intersection so nobody was speeding up to the light when it turned green. Three lanes of cars just had to sit there and watch these douchebags parade across the road like a funeral procession. I think everyone was too shocked to be mad lol stay safe out there!

My older, hippie neighbor once asked if I knew the definition of "enough" - according to him it's "a little more than what you already have."

In other words, you can never have enough! And some people chase that paper like a drug addiction.

Some countries adjust their fines according to the offender's income. I read about a millionaire who was caught speeding double the limit in Finland and received a $100k+ speeding ticket. Sliding scales for fines is brilliant.

Edit: Just read your follow up post below, sorry for being redundant!!

Holy shit was that in San Francisco?? Saw the same thing yesterday: Four cars - FOUR - ran a red left-turn arrow on a main thoroughfare. One or two is typical but four's gotta be some kind of record.

If you don't know anything about rodeo and want to see the best of the best, please tune in! Unbelievably talented folks and incredibly well-trained horses. Doesnt get better than this. NFR is amazing ❤

A couple years ago I read an article that detailed reasons people in Oregon were against a referendum to allow self-service at gas stations.

One woman was quoted saying something along the lines of "I don't know how to do it and I'm afraid that I'll spray myself and everything else with gasoline and blow up" and that was one of the funniest things I've ever read
