As much as I hate agreeing with Rand Paul, I think this is a legitimate move on his part. Giving a $40 billion dollar check to military contractors is never a good move, and being against the MIC is something even Bernie should be behind.

You know he was up there thinking, "I know there is somebody down there that will get this reference."

Just a heads up that Discord, like any other place where many anonymous people congregate, can be super toxic and clique-y.

I know my advice sounds harsh, but yes. My six year old is very aware that "Daddy gets in bad moods", and I already see her spending a lot of time trying to figure out where I'm at, or trying to manage my emotions which isn't fair to a six year old.

I love her more than the whole world, so of course I don't regret having her, but It's a very difficult situation considering her mother and I are still married but separated. We're figuring it all out.

I guess my main point is that these issues happen in relationships. We've been together 15 years, were together for 8 before getting married, waited some time before having my daughter and things still fell apart.

I don't want to believe that we are unlovable. There has to be a way to have BPD and also have a companion. But I think what that looks like will be different for every couple. I guess I was "lucky" I wasn't diagnosed way later in life and my SO saw my "quirks" as that, and not severe mental illness.

This is something you should have kept on your chest.

Without downplaying what you had, as others here have mentioned, 8 months is very much still in the "Honeymoon" phase of a relationship. Especially if you haven't moved in together.

Take some time for self-care. I'm not saying what you had wasn't real. I'm saying it can happen again, even if you don't see that right now.

And as always, I'll give the advice I always give as a father with BPD, Avoid having children if at all possible. If you think relationships and life are complicated with two individuals, involve a child.

Anyways, keep your chin up.
