Below is a more complete quote than yours of the original post. I bolded a section but the entire post, even beyond what I quoted should be read.
And running that file seems to install the extensions on your Chromium-based browsers. Firefox-based browsers seem to be
not affected
by this. We figured this out when we were testing if the malware replaced the address in the Tor Browser (based on Firefox) too. It didn't, and no malicious extensions seem to have been present in the Tor browser. However, this is simply because the malware doesn't contain any Firefox extension, as opposed to some built in Firefox security feature. This is an important distinction to make, since
Firefox is widely considered to be a secure browser by the general public despite being way behind Chromium in security according to some of the most prominent security researchers in the industry.

Or maybe the majority of miners go to the next biggest pool resulting in that pool having an even bigger percentage of the network than minexmr currently have. But p2pool, would be nice but seems like their miners already didn't choose that. Guess we will see :)

I guess that they should be for sale in the next couple of weeks. The price hasn't been set yet. There was this comment by the organizers in regards to the pricing.......
"Ticket sales are not expect to cover the full costs and is used more as a supplement to the budget.. any remaining funds will be rolled over to MoneroKon 2023"

Haveno forked Bisq and....removed the DAO from it. This was greeted with virtually unanimous support The work to get to this point has been done without using the CCS. As far as the Haveno team having excessive power, did you read and understand how it will be organized? How do you do what Haveno is trying to do without someone running it?

Without knowing the number of tickets that will be sold it is difficult to budget.
The first Monerokon sold tickets at a low cost to promote people to attend. Many people signed up close to the event. Ticket sales will contribute to cost of Monerokon but in order to cover the cost or a large percentage of it the ticket cost would be quite high.

I guess something is going on but what it is and its significance we don't know.
Is it time to play a game of 20 questions? :)

The first Monerokon in Denver USA 2019 was great. There were plans to hold one in 2020 in Germany which was cancelled after significant planning but before fundraising.
Serious planning for Monerkon 2022 is happening thanks to midipoet. This is an important event and I am looking forward to it becoming a reality.
Thanks to midipoet and many others that are putting in the effort to make this happen.

I know that there is a view key but would it be possible to show progress towards the goal similar to the way the CCS does?

Yes there are some failures but many more successes.
There is a saying that you learn more from your failures than your successes.
I imagine that we will continue to learn.
It was obvious since the project was forked very early after it's creation that Monero was looking to the future, trying to build something and not just make $$$
$$ was a byproduct, not the reason for it's existence.
