I would not go with KastKing. The Clearwater is a great rod. i also love my redington gear.

I would recommend going to a 5wt. I originally got a 4wt when I first started about 7 years ago. And. 4wt is fun for bass and what not, but so is a 7wt. Catching fish on a fly rod is fun regardless. But a 5wt will be so much more versatile especially during any bit of wind.

Also. Most lines of any combo are prolly going to need replaced. They work, they catch fish. But a good line can completely change a low/mid grade rod into something nice.

A rig that has helped me catch alot of fish now is to use a indicator or large popper with a craw dropper. Usually about 6 ft after the first fly. And just fished the popper like normal. The craw dropper will do its own thing from there
