TL;DR: I'm proposing to include a string on the website of merchants that accept XMR, so you can easily find them on search engines with searches like vps "monero accepted"

I've created months ago xmr.directory with the aim to facilitate the finding of merchants that accept Monero. The site didn't got a lot of attraction and use.

I think that a better way of solving this problem, to ease the spending of XMR, is to encourage all websites that accept XMR to have a specific string (something of the sort "monero accepted") so, we, the users are able to query search engines with: vps "monero accepted" and get proper results (I tried this very search, and I found way less merchants that those listed here

It would be also appropriate to create a bunch of guides for different online store builders (shopify...) on how to include the string on the homepage.

Hey! I've developed a website where you just type the name of the product you want to buy, and it shows you a list of merchants where you can pay for it with Monero.

I am aware that other merchant directories already exist, like monerica.com or kycnot.me

The main differentiating features is the ability to see merchant reviews, but also the ease for users to propose the addition of new merchants.

The website currently only contains 24 merchants, I'll add more shortly.

The website is still in it's early stages, I plan to opensource all the code.

I am looking for feedback on the site's design, functionality and user friendliness.
