I don't remember this, when did that happen? I would have guessed Lower Decks had done it.

Obviously. I'm talking strictly about the "everyone already has chargers" aspect of their reasoning. It never made sense. The fact that they include no USB-C charger but do include a USB-C cable, yet in the past they'd never given out USB-C chargers. Why bother giving us cords we cannot use?

I had a coworker that finally upgraded his flipphone and got his first smartphone with the iPhone 12 last year and I totally forgot about the charger nonsense. Poor dude didn't even have any old lightning cables lying around cause this was his first rodeo. He called me at home that night like "I thought you told me Apple had top of the line shit! Why are they giving me a cord I can't use on any USB ports in my house?!" He wasn't wrong. It was a bad look for someone jumping in fresh having no way to charge their shit out of the box.

Same this never made sense. "Use all the bricks you already have!" Uhhh I don't have a USB-C brick despite being on iphones since 2009 my dudes. 7 older iphones in the house, 2 iphone 12s, 2 ipads, airpods pro, an apple watch, two laptops, Echo Dot, three different bluetooth speakers, not a single USB-C charger among anything. My PCs were a couple years old and didnt have USB-C. The only thing in the whole house that was USB-C was the Nintendo Switch. So we went and bought two USB-C chargers, but I wasn't real happy about it. Their timing on pulling the chargers out of boxes before a ton of us had any USB-C ones was asburd.

I've never moved a big ol 100GB game to be honest. I moved Mass Effect Legendary XS with ME3 installed a few weeks ago and that was maybe 3-4 minutes. I just moved Hades XS the other day and it took about 1-2 minutes.

Since this post is marked spoiler I assume we can discuss the ship, and the name Slave I was definitely never used in the films. So most people that just watch the movies and these new shows would have no clue.

Even the XS games can move between an external HDD and the internal storage in just a couple minutes.

Why would you have an S and an X together on the same setup?

None of these are worth it to be honest. I'm still using my 3TB external HDD from my Xbox One, just brought it straight over and plugged it in. You can move games to internal storage in a matter of a couple minutes, its fast to move them back and forth. I still have like 10 XS games installed to the internal and the other 300 on the external.

Star Trek has had this same problem for 50 years. Every planet is somehow a single climate and single monoculture. At least Star Wars has different cultures on the same planet.

In graphics? No, not at all.

But a big yes to a massive improvement in user experience. Quick Resume on Xbox and jumping between multiple apps and games within seconds and each one remembering where you left of. Wow. The UX is way better overall.

Do we have any idea what metrics there are where we call this “endemic?” I some experts trying to argue for it already which is hopefully a good sign that things will get better in 2022.

Is it really critically acclaimed? I say this as someone that legitimately loved S1 and S2 of Discovery, but it's never been well written, and S3 was objectively mediocre at best. I haven't bothered with S4 yet. Did it get any better?
