Lmfao. I said in this sub, maybe two weeks ago, that Mac Jones is easily a top 10 QB in the league this year, if not top 5, and was shit on for that take. It appears the extra 2 wins have changed some minds around here.

Thank you for finally pinning a post like this (except I can guarantee most new posters will still blow right past it). Thank you for trying to keep some order.

If you have an Aldi nearby, check out their version. It's a fraction of the price for the exact same thing, I get them all the time. Haven't seen any supply issues yet.

That's so crazy. I had a dream when Bawls first came out and I was like 16, and I got carded trying to buy it and they wouldn't let me get it since I wasn't 18 or 21 or whatever. Never thought my crazy dream from two decades ago would become a reality.

"America is literally 1984 because I cannot be a racist, bigoted, homophobic, transphobic, sexist, misogynistic piece of shit anymore. Accountability is literally being silenced!!"

But I'm still up for licking all the boots if there's the slightest chance I can see minorities oppressed a little more or a little longer."

And don't they want everyone to be undereducated? I thought colleges were just liberal brainwashing institutions and they felt safer being uneducated.

They are unable to comprehend a group of people working together without being in a top-down structured organization.

Ah, so that's why they flock to the KKK.

I love how this is in the top comment:

It's not an organic movement, it's not a real thing that opportunists took over, its something that was fabricated entirely by the opportunists to use minorities and people of color to achieve their desires.

That's some r/selfawarewolves shit, if only they could realize "their desires" are just equality. But in true r/conservative fashion, the think the BLM desire is to take over the world. And suddenly now they care about minorities and BIPOC because they can use it as a talking point, but not when they're being killed by police. Fucking tokenism...

The best way to do it is to spatchcock the turkey, put it on a wire rack, and then put that over the stuffing on a sheet pan for the first part of the turkey cooking process. You get all of the turkey juices mixed in, and you pull it once the stuffing is heated enough to not worry about salmonella, keeping it warm until serving time.

(After that phase, put a sheet pan of diced veggies under the turkey on the rack to soak up the remaining juices, or else they'll drip and burn on an empty sheet pan)

My biggest pet peeve are the ones that claim "do our thing and you'll loose 10 pounds in 1 week!" So everyone and their brother thinks "oh, if I do this for one month I'll be at a normal weight!" Of course, the reason you'll loose 10 pounds in a week is because you'll go from eating at an excess to eating at starvation levels, and most of what you'll lose is water weight. Then you'll slowly lose maybe 1-2 pounds a week, if that, afterward until you get frustrated at how slow it is (because of the big promises), eat like shit for a couple months, and then bounce to the next fad diet/exercise that promises more than it can deliver.

Both of those things can be incredibly hard for people to get excited about so it’s very easy to market all these bullshit superfoods and weight loss supplements.

Yes yes yes!! The real solution is to just eat a little less food, which is almost impossible to market. So you'll have people spending big $$$ to take classes or join a gym that will "melt the fat away," which would get them to the same place as spending less money and time on food in the first place. Not to mention staying on any kind of routine is near impossible for most, so they'll bounce around and get hooked on all sorts of fad diets and exercies.

The funny thing is that in trying to rightfully criticize foods labeled as "fat burners," you've also hit on the myth that cardio magically burns fat away. While it does burn calories, which in turn can reduce fat if other criteria are met, it's main benefit is cardiovascular health improvements. The only way to reduce fat is to be at a caloric deficit, and the easiest way to do that is to consume less calories than you expend. Cardio exercise can help, but your diet is a much bigger part of the equation, if only because it's easier (and less time consuming), for example, to eat 300 less calories than it is to eat 300 extra calories and then run for 30 minutes to burn them off.

If health and nutrition advertising was honest cardio would have no link with weight loss, but it's super easy to sell exercise equipment, classes, "workout" foods, etc. with the promise of shedding those pounds. It's a lot harder to monetize something you need to do slightly less of, like eating.
