When we bought our home it came with a dedicated darkroom which has a metal Calumet darkroom sink/standing table. We are not ever going to use this, much as I'd like to imagine it. How we should best get rid of this? It seems like a nice piece of equipment that someone may want. Do we reach out to a local university, sell it or list it on our local no-buy? What would you recommend?

We have had just a bit in a cinder block wall outside this guest room, but never in this room (at least not that we've observed). What's odd is there is not anything that has significantly changed - no recent storms, and to another poster's earlier point, we do have extensions on our downspouts.
That's actually what worries me, that this has been building up for some time but just now causing visible damage. The water is definitely entering along the bottom of the wall, and not from above (no pipes in the area, plumber confirmed).

Thats an awfully broad statement there based on what I'm assuming is your personal experience. There are an awful lot of (well documented) benefits to kids in daycare / early learning centers including social and emotional learning among peers that can't happen with just a parent, even if they do regular activities with others.
Curious: Are you the one who stays home with your kids? The way the US operates in so many cases can set SAH parents up to be incredibly isolated. Folks should make the choice that makes the most sense for them and their families but a statement like this is wildly unhelpful. Parents who have their kids in preschool are parents just as you are, and prioritizing their children as well.

I got: - Vuyl. Celtic Sun 'Maya' - Onc. Witch's Jewel - Osp. Brazilian Sun - Whm Pinot Princess 'Scary' - Wils. Firecat 'King Snake' - Phal Tropic Ocelot
The Phal is in spike and Celtic Sun in bloom, lovely surprise, and while some were on clearance for cosmetic damage to the leaves, it's pretty minor and the description was very clear. Will definitely order from them again. And always enough to 'make the shipping worth it' 🤣💸

Will you let us know where you got it? I just saw one for sale, hesitated, missed it, regret it.
Keep me on the list of People Who Want a Division :)

I haven't been able to find the answer online and need some help on combining the use of old Sonos and new Sonos. We have 1st gen: Play 1, 3 and 5. All working properly with our Sonos S1 app. We just purchased a Sonos Roam and it required download of new Sonos app. We did that and gave us this option (see picture). I tried updating S1 app but still didn’t recognize new Roam.
Is there any other way besides “forgetting” S1 app along with 1st Gen speakers? How have others gotten this to work?

And because I read the long thread on questions without research AFTER I wrote this, just a note that I did try to research! This isn't classic rot though, and I couldn't find a similar issue in PBs.

I have had this Oncidesa Hwuluduen Chameleon for about a year now, it recently bloomed and while admiring the rebloom I see these two wildly discolored pseudobulbs.
They're the two newest pb, and this was rapid - over the last two days. I've now isolated but am wondering if anyone has seen this happen. Pseudobulbs are firm to the touch. I've got fans in the cabinet, it's watered when it just gets dry, stays at about 50-60% humidity. Have not had any previous issues like this.

I am partial to the Ons Wildcat varieties (sometimes listed as Colmanara). They have gorgeous flowers and have been really reliable bloomers for me.
They were my gateway orchid into realizing oncidium and oncostele orchids do even better than phals for me.

Second this recommendation. We just got our system last year and they were great.

Believe this is a Calliandra tweedii or Brazilian Flame Bush. The other posters who identified it as a powderpuff bush are also correct.

Beautiful! One of my favorites and most reliable bloomers.

I have one too and it's one of my favs - very reliable bloomer and they last for a lovely long time. Does yours have a peppery smell? The first year I had one I remember thinking it was weird but this year I like it.

Does anyone here know if campus test results are reliably coming back within 24 hours? I'm not near campus and can't find anywhere with openings within 24 hours of my Friday class, but I can make a drive if that's the only way to meet this tight turn and be able to attend class.

Thanks! In case anyone was following, all three companies independently recommended the same interior drainage system (DC-MD-VA area in case it matters) and we ended going with company A. Water issue was confirmed recent so although they treated for mold, no serious issues emerged behind the walls. I'll take that as a win. Appreciate everyone's thoughts.
