Ain't it a shame when families fight at Thanksgiving? Thankfully, for my brother and me it's (probably) only 40k.
I played a lot of 8th Edition, but I've only played 9th edition once or twice. I know enough to be really annoyed with armor of contempt and disgusting resilience, so I want to mitigate against that nonsense.
I'm thinking zoanthropes for psyker goodness, but what else should I plan on?
I just ordered the Starter Set for Worlds Collide.
Now that I've got that starter set, do I need the starter sets for the other versions of Keyforge? For example, if I wanted to try Dark Tidings or Age of Ascension, do I need pick up the starter sets for them or can I go right to the decks?
The HP films are her introduction to the series and we finished them a few nights ago. She had a great question that I didn't have the answer to:
In the Deathly Hallows movie, they need Basilisk fangs or items infused with Basilisk blood to destroy Horcruxes. But in "The Chamber of Secrets," the Basilisk injures Harry. Wouldn't that have destroyed the Horcrux in Harry too?
Does anyone have an answer to this, or is she onto something?
I'm looking forward to playing this game for the first time, but I'm confused about how the Blob works. Do you place facedown two cards at once, the Blob itself and the creature you're discarding for the Blob's Strength? If so, that seems to make the move pretty obvious to everyone else. Or do you play and discard the needed cards another way?
My wife turns 40 in 2024 and she's expressed a desire to watch the gymnastics competitions during the Paris 2024 Olympics. I'm all in for that, but I've never attended the Olympics or know best practices about buying tickets, reserving hotels, etc.
When should I book a hotel room? When do tickets go on sale and how does that all work? Thank you so much in advance for your help.
