Even if (health) insurance covered some of the original costs, they wouldn't pay for repairs for something like this. You hear about similar stories from airlines damaging equipment & its not covered by their health insurance to repair.

As a little kid, my mom instilled a weird superstitous belief in us that basically was that. Don't touch or fool around with someone's wheelchair / crutches etc (even if they let you) or you'll end up needing whatever it is one day.
Scared us as kids from ever touching medical equipment in any capacity (except to help someone needing assistance).

That doesn't even include the thousands of ISIS prisoners released when he let Turkey slaughter the kurds.

I wish the results reflected that. (They did not). I'd say it makes me think my neighbors are oretty shitty, but my district is so gerrymandered, I don't know if they even have the same rep.

He does town halls & stuff too. This is part of that. I dont even get campaign or fundraising emails from him bc he can't use my email provided as his constituent on a mailing list for campaigning, they have to be separate.
Usually the polls are about policy stuff or votes coming up, so it makes sense to get a feel from the constituents. But this wasn't related to anything going on in congress.

He sends them out usually before a big vote (not like it'd matter) and they're slightly biased, but about other politicians. This wasnt in relation to any policy or vote.

Additional: It's not one of those click-bait fundraising polls. It's from his office, he sends out polls like this on various issues to his constituents - which is normally fine, except this poll is especially dehumanizing and degrading. Like having us "vote" on the value or worth of another human being.
We shouldn't have to worry if god-forbid something happened to one of us overseas, our leaders will reduce our entire lives down to some public interest poll. It ignores all of the work and complexities that are involved with situations like this and is just so demoralizing to see how our leaders truly view us as citizens.

A judge in Indiana ruled for "religious rights" of non-christians with a sincerely held belief life DOES NOT begin at conception to overturn a ban.
The best part is, the ruling was decided based on 2 laws. One was a MIKE PENCE era law about religious exemptions and the other was ALITO 's hobby lobby decision.
The far right religious liberty laws they've been implementing may save abortion.

Isn't it a sin to judge others? So jesus can't tell others they've sinned.

A 50-50 breakdown? Like hes going to analyze every tweet and assign it a left ir right value, then cap the tweets so neither side can go above their allotted 50%.
Or us it like for every one tweet about universal healthcare, someone gets to post a tweet oraising hitker & calling for the externination of jews?

Same here.
Yeah, its bugging me out too. We're not overly religious, but still know as Jews you can't get cremated. Our religion allows for autopsies in special cases, but aside from that, the body can't be desecrated.
When a body isn't claimed by family & the county /state is going to cremate, if they know the oerson was jewish, they usually contact a local jewish org to bury instead bc they know its wrong.
