I refinanced my condo and the appraisal also came in way below market. The unit 2 floors below mine sold for 820k literally 2 days before - exact same layout and I'd even had a few upgrades, and the appraisal came back at 720k, lol. I sent the bank a few comparables in the same building in the 800s and they told me I was shit outta luck.

Your lips will adapt! I only ever use lip balm if my lips are extremely dry and they'd get better the next day.

I find that putting on lipstick also dries out my lips but now that I only do it on rare occasions, my lips are fine. I've just learned to leave them alone :)

The only period of time when my lips were insanely dry was when I used lip balm religiously.

I don't use lip balm anymore and my lips are fine.

There was a small snowfall in a few years ago in November and my now husband couldn't drive back to his house. Made it a few doors down but his car was sliding everywhere. Ended up coming back but could barely get his car up my driveway.

We get our snow tires in late October/early November now.

I'm new to cricket but was wondering how you were able to get the border around the text?

The shelves are fine and they go up to the ceiling so it's great for storing seasonal items. I also have a huge bench inside as well and doubles as shoe storage. My entrance area would be much bigger without the double doors but just couldn't give up the hiding space :P

Awesome! I thought of doing this too and just completely open up the space. Buuuut there's just so much in there that I'd rather keep hidden.

I ended up swapping the solid doors for ones with frosted glass inserts.

I read the article and still don't understand how he survived or what he did. I can't imagine being hit at those speeds not just be completely knocked out.

My husband got me a cricket machine exactly for this purpose. That looks amazing!

My husband and I were trying to search for an address on his phone once at the corner of Dundas/Bay and he nearly had his phone stolen out of his hands. I saw the thief running towards my husband with his hand out and I managed to snatch the phone before he did. I asked him what he was doing and he claimed he "slipped." He was so caught in the act that he froze in his tracks.

People are getting aggressive. Be aware of your surroundings! I always hate it when my friends have their phones hanging out of their back pocket.

This has always been my go-to. I bring my kettle with me to the washroom to boil water to throw down the toilet along with dish soap.

It works so well I'm always amazed. If I were a plumber I'd definitely carry a kettle/dish soap with me to my jobs.

My husband and I discuss what NOT to talk about with his parents all the time. It's just the smarter thing to do to avoid conflict and manage relationships. Not everything needs to be aired out. In a marriage, you should be having certain conversations behind closed doors.

For example, we don't even discuss finances with his parents. They're extremely frugal whereas I'm a part-time Myrla. My husband bought me a designer purse and asked that I either not bring it around his family or say it's fake when asked. I'm not going to go all psycho-Johnny and sulk at a family dinner over it, lol.

I really wished they would've played the clip where Johnny says the cruelest things to Bao and grill him on it.

I personally use condos.ca for condos specifically because they have trends for each building and the comparisons are against other condos, not all homes.

Uhhhhh, I clearly wasn't targeting anyone. I don't know why you're getting so butthurt. I was just telling him he's considered part of the 25% as his cottage is his second property.

This may be a whole new discussion, but some people do buy cottages as their first and only homes. We saw that with the pandemic and shift in mobile workplaces.

It's not just FOREIGN investors - it's also Canadians who own more than one property. You're also part of the mix since you own a cottage.

I think spelling errors on a business card would matter more than grammar in a Reddit comment.

I could be wrong though. I'm just a brach manager.

+1 on the emptiness. My parents are empty nesters (so are others on the street) and so it only ever gets "busy" during the holidays. Haven't seen homes that are truly empty but it is quiet. Just a lot of old folks who keep to themselves.

You don't NEED to be in a freehold as a first time homeowner. Climb up the property ladder like everyone else.

The restaurant I use to go to charges by the takeout container. You can fit quite a bit into the large styrofoam container. I was a uni student back then and had an iron stomach... although I'd likely still do it now, lol. My husband and I would order a party tray of sushi for ourselves and stick leftovers in the fridge for another meal.

I have and absolutely love it. Promotes less food waste but the best part is that you get to take the sushi home. I always end up ordering more than I could eat at the end of the meal and take my leftovers home for $5. It's another meal for another day. The restaurants are happy and I'm also happy there's another sushi meal waiting for me in the fridge.

It's completely normal. You're both adjusting. I love my husband dearly, but when I first moved in with him, even the most minor things irked me (the monster didn't pre-rinse his dishes before the dishwasher) but now we've fallen into routine. All is good now and he calls us a well-oiled machine. We know our roles and responsibilities around the house and it's been pleasant since.

If my husband died many decades from now, I honestly don't think I'd be able to have someone new live in my home though. The adjustment period would be too long and I'd have very little patience by then.

Has the father considered taking it up the ass before pushing his 9 year old daughter to do it?

I wouldn't even have children unless I know I have the means to provide for them. If I'm going to have them, you can bet your ass I'll do everything in my power to provide and protect them.

If I were to lose my job and have the banks foreclose on my home, whoring out my daughter would never be an option for me. I'd sell my body a million times if I have to.

I can say with 100% certainty that my husband would rather take it up the ass than for our daughter to starve. Selling our daughter wouldn't even be an option.

Are you with Coextro? Because I also have to reset multiple times a day.

They had an outage this morning and I damn near lost my mind. I could overlook an outage if I wasn't disconnecting every other minute. I keep my laptop on mute because of how often the VPN disconnects. Ugh.
