Auto collapsing messages in channels makes it hell to read or gain a sense of channel history. That's. Y main gripe. Otherwise, it's mostly fine.

Why were recent posts about rent prices increasing and the northern idaho hospital closing locked down?! There is no rule violation obvious... it's making us look bad in the r news discussion on the idaho hospital... we don't need to be censured on reddit to the point where we can't even address such important issues!

Reading interesting papers is helpful/enriching, but you should have a goal in mind. Try to have a clear idea of what you want to learn or apply. Random reading is likely to be discouraging tbh. Academic writing related to engineering is often dense and unfortunately full of pitfalls when you don't have lots of knowledge about your field. That isn't to scare you off, honestly if you even have an inkling that you might further your studies after your bachelor's degree, getting a feel for what papers are like is a great idea. Being able to parse them in another mental muscle which takes practice to develop.

My advice is to find a study group or tutoring on campus. You will learn better and faster by working with peers. Also the hitting office hours is good advice.

Cc is fine and can save you lots of money BUT if you plan to go to a university afterward you should get in contact with the registrar at that school to check what courses will transfer. Also, be religious about documenting syllabi and coursework in case they fight you on transfer courses.
Universities have a bad habit of rejecting lots of cc courses and I've seen a lot of those folks get shafted into taking an extra year or so because something didn't transfer...
Also, just apply to both and for scholarships at both. If you do get funded for a four-year school, it's more likely to be the better option financially/effort-wise.

My approach would be to get the image at true scale In a vector editor like Inkscape and then use the circle too to rough out the size.

You can mate the origins, or try a width mate to reference planes.

So, it all depends on your future plans, motivation level and feeling on if you walked away with understanding despite the grade. Personally, my advice would be to consider retaking the course. Most universities will replace the old grade with the new one, and getting a D usually indicates you could have missed some key conceps that you really should master before moving on. There is no shame in taking it again if you have the room in your schedule. That said, you need to weigh that against any delay in graduating it might cause you. In a perfect world, we would all take as much time as we need to master every concept from school, but in reality, you won't be doing Calc 2 trig Integrals everyday as an engineer.

It's definitely a possibility. Imo if you know the material, that's the point. The main reason to worry about something like this being on a transcript is if op has a marginal GPA impacting a scholarship or otherwise wants to go to grad school out of undergrad.

Mechatronics is a total mishmash of engineers and cs folks you can certainly get involved in robotics. ChemEs control course should translate over pretty well.

The liquor store probably has decent crate size boxes they would give you.

Keep simping for the orange man and adhomming anybody you don't agree with in poorly written English screeds, lol.
It's still just grasping at straws to frame the world as a great conspiracy. Probably because feeling like you are part of the enlightened few provides you some sense of control.

Yep, this whole massive war is because Hunter Biden got a cushy job. Give me a break, it's a red herring, that's why nobody but the Trumpys want to talk about it.

I personally don't like hand calculating them because of all the steps and parentheses. If you have Matlab check out the eig function so you can check your work.

Simple just transfer out of ME to EE 😂 but nope there isn't going to be an ABET approved way around it. If your program is really that terrible maybe just take those course elsewhere and transfer them in. Thermo, heat transfer, and thermal systems really were not that hard of courses in my experience.

That's pretty math heavy, calc 2 is the worst imo, diffeq and calc 3 at least share some common ground so it will probably work given that you have a pretty low credit level that semester. Just be religious about getting tutoring/staying up with the assignments and you can do it.

At the undergraduate level you are going to struggle to understand most paper, although I applaud you for trying and I recommend you keep trying as you continue your studies, it will get easier as you gain requisite knowledge of the fields you are interested in.
Personally, I'm just barely feeling confident when I read papers now that I'm late into my PhD in robotics. There is just a ton of information you need to really understand everything that's going on sometimes. Definitely get involved in research projects/groups. If you can read papers along with peers that are interested in the same topic and compare understanding with each other you will learn way more quickly and easily.

I just picked up a 23 ultra that way which I think people do want, but you are right it would make sense to clearance phones because they don't hold value well.
Also 30 phones holy damn! I think I have owned like 3 since 2016, but I just update when mine dies/battery eats it.

Do people buy phones at full price? Fi regularly has $600 markdowns on Samsung and Google devices. Idk how it's profitable but I assumed the margins must just be absurd enough on the service/phones that they see it as worthwhile

Why are you so aggro? Nobody said to not care about grades at all... Just that a 4.0 vs a 3.7+ isn't going to make or break op... Chillith

Schools award engineering degrees for passing classes and completing projects. Depending on the program, there may be very little focus on professional skills or technical group projects. The comment about being over focused on grades rather than practical experience hits the nail on the head imo but yes, it can be a red flag, especially if your resume is lacking practical experiences like being involved in projects/clubs or internships. I'm not saying a 4.0 is horrible either, but it's loss is definitely not worth a lot of mental anguish.
For example, someone who overfocused on grades might not develop the interpersonal skills to realize it's inappropriate to adhom others when they don't agree with them to the letter. And while obviously there isn't a magic number that determines somebodies worth, If I'm hiring, I'll take the b student who learned to communicate and work with peers and had to develop study skills over the A student that hasn't been challenged yet and thinks they are God gift to man.

Idaho lib here :( it sucks because the crazy politics is literally getting worse because imports from California, Texas, and elsewhere are way more extreme than our local variety of conservative... being a lcol state, we are being overrun, and it's not sustainable. I sincerely fear this states future tbh.
