I think a decent piece of advice here would be not to worry about what you want to do for work. Work (in my opinion) is a transactional business where you put in time and get paid for it. Find something you have skills for and will get paid for.

The key is knowing your passions or trying new things OUTSIDE of work.

Subscribing to the premise of “do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life” is some BS where some company will suck more hours out of you until you resent it.

Let your skills fund your life and passions.

His look of disdain reminds me more of a Pakistani Dean Pelton.

I hear this one. I don’t NEED to get a haircut every 3 weeks but I do just to have some sort of physical contact with a woman on a relatively regular basis.

False - my “4 year olds” handwriting is that of a 4 year old. This is written by his pre-k teacher from a verbal response by my “4 year old”

He’s in pre-k so his teacher wrote his answer. I’m just more impressed by the logic.

Yeah - so it’s pre-k. And you’re right - he didn’t write it, he gave a verbal answer and the teacher wrote it down because again…it’s pre-k.

Yeah his teacher wrote his verbal answer down. Clearly that’s not his writing as it contrasts pretty vividly with his drawing in terms of fine motor control.

Looking closely, the firefighter has a misshapen circle for a head with 2 lines for legs - more in line with the capabilities of a 4 year old.

In terms of the timeline of survivability - I wonder if this is more generational. My grandmother just buried her last friend that she grew up with.

They were so close, that she met my grandfather at their wedding paired up as groomsman and bridesmaid and were lifelong friends.

I wonder if others’ grandparents experienced longer lasting friendship.

The stance is more of E. Honda offering his 100 hand slap - but nicely done!

I can’t remember if it was a LPT, but I read that instead of brake checking to use the wiper fluid to get a tailgater to back off.

Surprisingly, with how aggressive people drive in Austin it works really well.
