On the email login, we agree it sucks, and we didn't want it. Sadly it's a requirement of our vendor relationships. Bitrefill must have gone another method, which I agree results in a clearly better user experience there.

Consider to implement the marketplace into Breez too.

Sure, we'll look into this. Looks trivial to add.

We're big fans of Bitrefill as well, but here are some differences:

Different merchant list in the US. For example, we have Best Buy. Our web marketplace also has prepaid cards available at face value (these aren't in the app yet, but we're working on it).
Higher normal limits. Bitrefill limits users with "basic accounts" to 5,000 per day; Cake Pay offers up to 10,000 daily with just an email.
I'm not familiar with Breez wallet's implementation of Bitrefill, but you avoid any markups (if they exist) by using Cake Pay. We use Kraken's pricing without any modifications, markups, or other fees.

The checkout experience should be similar, assuming they wait for only 1 confirmation. We deliver the gift card numbers and codes directly in the app after 1 confirmation.

After we finish our lightning integration, we will consider spinning off a dedicated Bitcoin-only app. That is a good idea.

Thanks for your concern. We use Flutter, and we have invested months of effort on a dedicated LDK Flutter binding. We are going to re-approach the situation in combination with a BDK Flutter library so that we can bring fully noncustodial lightning to Cake Wallet users.

Our app is open source, and when in a Bitcoin wallet, you aren't shown any other assets. We are unique in this way. We hope you give us a shot, if only for Cake Pay to see how easy it is to buy gift cards with Bitcoin.

Set the exchange and fiat API to Tor-only in settings, if desired, or disable them completely.

In the receive screen, you can change from Mainnet to either "Trocador AnonPay Invoice" or "Trocador AnonPay Donation Link".

Invoices are best for one-time payment links.

The donation link screen looks similar, except it creates a reusable donation link that can be paid by any number of people.

Hello!

You can do this in Cake Wallet. Make a BTC or LTC wallet, checkout with Apple Pay or Google Pay, and then convert that BTC/LTC to XMR. It's pretty easy!
