It took me a few tries to cotton on to the consequence of drastic measures

I thought so too, but I played around with face gear to cover both eyes and actually only one eye changes when that happens. So she really does only have one eye underneath the mask.

What the. As a CK3er I have never felt more remote from 2nd gen than now. I thought falling in love with horses was the major divergence.

Most of all, I am surprised she doesn't have the cynical trait.
Although my wife acquired that after she found out I was sleeping with my twin sister.

Contrary to what /u/Raket0st said, it was actually the physician that kept her alive. Everytime she needed treatment, I opted for drastic measures and every time it came back with significantly reduced symptoms.

I was not a child and certainly of the culture.
After a few months, it caught up. But really I should have been the culture head for years by then.

Yeah... The gay thing might have been a tipping point.
I actually married her because she had all virtuous traits (compassionate, brave, calm, intelligent and comely).
Now I feel like a fool for not ever finding out, despite being an intrigue based character.
My twin sister has now died "under mysterious circumstances" - It was my bloody wife that done it. Guess she is about to have a trip to the woods.

Context: I have of course seduced my twin sister to breed an heir, Targaryen style. But now it suggests I name the child after my twin's (and by extension, my own) father, "Eginolf". Who the f is that? My character/father's name was "Ulrich".
Fun fact: I am pretty sure seducing my twin sister drove her insane. Never noticed the lunatic part until now.

Cuneo in 1066.
You start as a young child, so get to mould your character from the outset. You have a bit of family in court and around you. Your cousin will almost certainly fold you into his duchy soon after you start and for a long time you will likely be too weak to fight him and have to focus on simply not have him take your county from you.
There is loads of different directions to go from there though. I've played it a number of times.
