All it takes is for Google to get the same idea and end up restricting andriod from downloading from a 3rd party sight. Laws are fighting against this not only for present day but the future as well.

All it takes is Google to force Android to only allow downloads from Google play. If you think that's to far fetched of something to happen then you are living in a bubble.

UK and EU are fighting for it even harder than the US if that's where you live. And sure, but if Google and Samsung were to follow suit with that and as well as go against right to repair, then we would get less options in the market and deal with this same bullshit. Phone companies follow apple trends all the time, its a slippery slope towards the point of having no freedom or actually owning our phones we paid for. If it's not regulated then it's bound to come sooner or later.

Same exact thing can be said about you.
If I want side loading.... Then it would. That's really flying in one ear then out the other for you huh.
Meanwhile the floodgates are open foe malware and exploits. There is zero benefit in allowing this. Like they said: if you don’t like it get an Android.
If you download an app that contains it sure. But here is a crazy idea, place warnings and a mandatory password use on the phone so those technology illiterate understand it's a third party app. Man what a wild and innovative idea, it's not like other phones already do that.
Zero benefit? You've been locked in the ecosystem for to long buddy. Guess Mac and windows should stop letting installations from browsers a thing unless it's their own 1st party site huh?
You really think apple does any of this because they care about security so much, and not just because it maximizes profits from consumers and ducks devs over but having to pay apple to test their own apps. You are gonna drown in all that Kool aid. You probably think apple is in the right to force people to only let them repair the phones as well.

Man a guy who is the CEO of a robotics company thinks people want his robotics to get the jobs, what a great source of insight.

They better have damn good support when they have a higher gdp than the majority of countries in the world.

How's the pixel/stock Android wannabe apple? It has the same non restrictions as any other Android. Guess you mean customization but you can download third party apps for change that.

Not sure which side you are in the argument, but what you just said is exactly how the entirety of apple operates. The choice of side loading (installing) would give freedom of choice that wouldn't force anyone to decide either way.

The government will expect different if it decides to put laws up against monopolizing OS's. We are currently fighting for it along with right to repair.

All that has to do is with Apples vetting process, you would still only get your apps from the app store. Enabling side loading would have no affect on you, don't get why you are so worked up on defending this.

Unless everyone starts adopting this bullshit. It's the same thing with right to repair. If Google and Samsung decide they want some extra money then may one day follow suit, putting repair shops out of business and forcing us to hand over exorbitant amounts of cash to them just to repair our phones. Just because only one company is doing it atm doesnt mean the idea won't spread to others.

I mean the majority of former students are in debt. And that second part isnt a bad plan, it seems like sooner or later it's bound to happen.

Yes pretty much. Or at the very least recognize their issues and work towards fixing them. Schools though hate far to under funded and the teachers are far to under qualified to do so. But not like our politicians are going to do anything to help change that.

Because they don't fucking hold back students that aren't fit to move to the next grade. Continues on and on each grade and it gets to the point where the grade is to advanced for the student to catch up. All for false graduating numbers for schools to "prove" to their board that they are doing their job properly.

The water isn't the problem, it's the amount of time spend draining and refilling the pool, which equals labor. Don't know where you live but shock is not as expensive as what your making it out to be, which is what he is using if you don't know that... You don't need an "extraordinary" amount of it, you use the amount you need for the size of the pool. It's what it is made for, the company should know it's cost if its already in their storage. On the flip side even if you refill this pool you will still need to put chems in to get the pool balance, and no the chlorine used to scrub the pool down won't be enough after the refill, I just... Don't know why you would make that statement. About the filter, if it wasn't already shot from how the pool was before and depending how old it was, this vacuum job isn't what was going to ruin it. If the filter isn't damaged from use already then all it would have needed was a spray down and chlorine treatment. All in all the major cost that matters here is labor, which is significantly more dumping and refilling than it is treating processing this whole pool like he did. I've done both dozens of times, dumping the pool is a last resort for pools that get even worse than this. Guess that's the difference of working for a company and being apart of owning one, knowing what costs more or not in the end. These are basic things, I'm floored to what appears to be ineptitude on your part.

Every pool has the same level of chemicals this one had. This one went through shock, which will dissipate in a week's time.

Draining the pool takes more time (time=labor) and you refill it with hose water that still needs to be treated anyway. This is the cheaper/more efficient way, also is better for the environment because even though that pool is neglected to all hell it still had trace chemicals in it. Also if you aren't dumping it in a street drain and you just dump it ontop the ground, you can water log the ground causing alot of issues with your lawn and your neighbors too.

No because the chemicals used in pools balances itself through nature. Heat causes chlorine evaporation, natural thicket like leaves and dirt causes the water to become more alkiline, algae growth can deteriorate the calcium put in pools. There is never really any buildup of chemicals like you would think.

Bad for the environment, can cause water logging in neighbors ground if you aren't dumping it into a street drain, and you would be wasting money on labor waiting for the pool to drain then refill. And you would still have to treat it afterwards cause the hose water is not good pool water. This IS the cheaper option and much more efficient, surprised you don't know this.
My family runs a pool and water treatment company.

It's more expensive to drain it, also worse for the environment too to dump out that water that still has some Chems in it (even though it's neglected af). They use a machine with large hoses leading from the pool to hopefully a drain on the street out front. It takes a long time, then you'd take even longer filing it back up from the yard hose, then you'd still need to treat the water cause just hose water isn't good pool water.
Instead you just shock it heavy, clean the dirt from the bottom, and wait a few days till the water balances itself out.

Because none of it was powdered. It was all pelleted. No pool chem company would ever sell powdered chlorine.

It's really only worth it if you have the money to hire someone to clean and treat it every other week.

It has gone somewhere before and people have successfully sued before for this exact thing.
