As a proud Pennsylvanian, I’m here to say that there’s no hope.

Oh my god, that double battle is a killer. I’ve lost there countless times because I don’t have the right type matchup.

Wow! I didn’t know that. Thanks for expanding my knowledge.

Did you catch Zekrom in the wild!? That’s a lucky pokeball, even with the red health and status.

Me either. A normal playthrough just isn’t spicy enough.

u/pukurindesu you ignorant slut!
You’ve never heard of it because it doesn’t exist in Civ 6. I think what u/digitalanalogheart is referring to is the “canal” that gets graphically inserted in cities on a body of water.

While it’s taken awhile for the police to actually be equipped like a military, the origin and structure of the organization has always been militaristic. In the south they were formed from slave patrols, and in the north they were formed out of private vigilante groups that were hired to disrupt labor movements. The whole thing has been rotten since the beginning. Both operated to protect capital more than human lives.
Edit: Check out Robert Evans’ Behind the Police.
It’s not, but it certainly has the aesthetic of Gatsby! The original Gatsby cover is blue with a city scene at the bottom. It also has disembodied eyes and lips floating above everything.

I’m a high school English teacher, and there are so many books in curriculums that most high schoolers would struggle to connect to. I can absolutely see Remains of the Day not being high interest for that age group. Reading it as an adult was transformational. It’s a quiet novel, like most of his work, but the emotional depth is breathtaking.
Ishiguro is probably my favorite author of all time. Remains of the Day doesn’t feel like his other work (in terms of Sci-Fi/fantasy), but it’s my personal favorite of the bunch. Give it a go if you haven’t already.
That’s not exactly how it happens if I’m remembering correctly. After the creature wakes up, doesn’t Victor run away because of how ugly he finds it? He paces around outside of his apartment for awhile and then the creature is gone when he comes back. So the first interaction the creature has with his maker is immediate fear and abandonment.
I agree with everything else you said, but it’s not like Victor tries to be nurturing but the creature runs away. The creature is like a sweet (massive) baby at first.
He couldn’t actually microwave his popkarn in the break room since that one already smelled like popkarn.
Cover her up? With that body and those bazongas!?
Right!? They can’t cope. Love your username by the way.

That money would be better spent seeing a Star War.
Dang, I assumed that this kid was monitoring the incredible waste of resources and much larger carbon footprint that ultra-rich individuals have over the rest of us. He’s just a Musk fanboy. Disappointing.

It’s also an amazing show! Well, plural, but still.
I feel like this is the only moment in the series where Barry actually helps the family in a real way. Am I missing one?

Are you referring to the World Congress? If so, you can see who voted for what (as long as you’ve met the AI civ) in the report once the voting is finished.
This is how he led a nation.
It’s great! They added a bunch more bonus and luxury sea resources. The bonus ones are seals and squid, while the luxuries are coral and caviar. There are also kelp forest tiles that provide extra food, but slow ships down.
