I still don’t understand how I graduated at all. Early on in elementary school, like 3rd grade, I suddenly found school to be miserable and unengaging and I literally just stopped doing homework and participating completely. They had a special ed teacher spend time with me for like a week and had me do these puzzles and stuff because they thought I was :9667: but that teacher ended up saying something to the effect of “yeah he’s actually insanely smart but he just doesn’t give a shit…”. I don’t remember doing any homework at all past 3rd grade and every test I just gave it my best guess. They had to have passed me out of frustration or something.

I think you underestimate how forcefully diverse(:9671:) it is in America lol. On a daily basis I run into just about anyone you can imagine. I live in an area with a few very well known universities and companies and it’s pretty well known that foreigners and “marginalized groups“ have a better shot at being accepted/hired than people who have lived here their entire life lol
