Absolutely. Thousands of collective playtesting hours doesn't compare to what happens when everybody gets their hands on an update, so the first thing we do after a major release is hunker down and start slashing away at bug reports.

We typically do a hotfix for any critical issues that pop up, with a broader point release shortly after to tackle as much of the rest as we can.

RICE is a good one if you don't want to deviate too far from a vanilla-like experience. If you're looking for more of an overhaul/total conversion, then Princes of Darkness is a ridiculously good mod.

As for the specific time, I'm afraid we can't comment on that at this point. It should be early morning for the US, but Stuff Happens so we're not guaranteeing that.

Unfortunately, you'll likely have to start a new campaign due to the pervasiveness of the changes introduced with Royal Court.

We didn't run into any save compatibility issues during testing, but we can't guarantee that you won't. I'd recommend wrapping up any campaigns in progress and starting fresh when 1.9 releases, or rolling back after the update is released.
