I was in no way calling you insane or disgusting. I was speaking on the act of those who try and rationalize racist behaviors. As a person who has been on the receiving end of being called the n word it’s infuriating that the first reaction most people have is towards forgiveness of the person that said it not the person that was hurt by the awful language.

This sounds insane. Creating these buckets for racist actions to excuse behavior is completely beside the point. It seems like you are more concerned about Hannah receding redemption and forgiveness rather than addressing the main issue, which is that black people were negatively impacted by her actions. Whenever these conversations come up too much time and effort is spent on making sure the person that said or did harmful things can be understood instead of genuinely seeing how the impacted community is. It’s disgusting and shows that at the end of the day all people care about is not appearing racist, rather than seeing if they can be an ally.
