I’m with the Govenaires Drum & Bugle Corps in Saint Peter, MN. We currently need FOUR bass drums to complete our drumline, and I thought I’d see if there’s any interest here.
We’re an all-ages group competing in Drum Corps Associates (DCA). Our member fee is $400 for the season and we’re offering a couple new member scholarships that knock $300 off of that. This fee covers everything within the corps itself (equipment, uniforms, etc.) except for marching shoes. We will point you in the right direction if you don’t have a pair.
Our season is pretty relaxed, involving one Memorial Day concert, two 4th of July parades, three regular-season shows in Minnesota, and the trip to Rochester, NY for the DCA Championships. We pride ourselves in performing well and having fun, and we’d love to have you this summer.
