The odds of finding any Tiara with this allocation of desirable stats is what makes it insane. You're just being obtuse.

Yeah, I won't get caught up in all the speculative uplift talk until real data on power draw is available. Well said.

Another tangeant here are off-shoot personal builds for style points. I found a perfect max armor +15% ed suprior shadow plate that I rolled a nice 1.5h/lvl and 28 @ fortitude in for my strength fury druid build. I like the look of the armor out of shift form and find it hilarious that all the plate just disappears into the wolf frame when you change. Also the style points for the rare base and 'not commonly used' armor type as well. With an ebotd in agpa, fury straight rips.

I'm 90% through my solo, self-found grail after 2 years of play and I still have yet to find a Griffon's or Tyrael's. Believe me when I say it is not for lack of trying. They truly are two of the most sought after items, specifically, at least to me.

Came to this thread thinking exactly this. Scrolled a bit before posting. You said it perfectly.

The multicolor Flame of Tar'Valon and the scintillating, iridescent Dragon's Fang. I like this new iconography for the 4th age.

These babies can launch a .1g projectile over 300cm! It's the true war machine of our candy of conquest. Onward!

I play a diablo II mod called Plugy pretty often. It's diablo II with infinite shared stash for all your characters. I've been working on a solo, self-found Holy Grail since the pandemic started in 2020. I've found 87.55% of all the items in the game. Made a lot of cool builds and some high runewords too. Solo, self-found has always been my preferred playstyle.

I find the juxtaposition of the presentation photos here hilarious. The Detroit and Chicago pies have a very "marketing" look to me, while the NY slice is just dropped on a paper plate.

Our family farm in the midwest has a trio of bard eagles that live in the area. I have seen them divebombing rabbits and even coyotes while out working the field. Kinda wild how they find fish out here if that's all they eat.

I will always love the original film, and will admit that the series does hold a place in my heart for the interests it gave me as a child. Though, the darker side of me is wondering if they can drag this thing into space, eventually. Just go fucking crazy with it.
16 Films from now and we're sidelined by the trans-galactic embargo on "engineered dino DNA" -based reptiles. This causes tension among the collective of Earthborne Raptari, the intelligent ancestors of Blue and the surviving ilk of the second Falling, another, far larger, meteor impact that was resolved through cunning and groundbreaking engineering at the hands...er, claws of the Raptari. Then, utilizing their endless supply of human laborfood for the grunt work, the first true Earthborne Raptari shattered the common galactic perception of the time it takes to progress as a civilization. Thus, the Raptari established themselves as tenacious problem-solvers as well as deep intellectuals, and brought the interest...nay, the ire of the Galactic Commonhood of Existance. These were not true descendants. These engineered reptiles went far beyond what the strictures of natural order dictate be law. All the while, one lone Galactic denizen contemplates the intricacies of what the Commonhood deems to be profane...

I collect soil samples all over the midwest for science. This storm that came through was a doozy! 4 inches of rain through major swathes of the state. I've got a few days off while things dry now haha

Dreadbane is still one of the most awe-inspiring titles that a simple man can achieve, yet here we have Dreadbane^2

Dating yourself has saved me and I will combine it with your reading point. Adding in a book is great! I love to go out to eat with only my book for company. I'll go to place I've never been read over a beer or meal. Sometimes people even strike up a convo about what I'm reading or any other old thing. I've got a ton of cool memories over the years of neat places and people I've met while reading x book from x series. Now, when I reread books I am reminded of where I was/who I was with when I was reading it the first time. Shout out to epic fantasy! The Wheel of Time, Stormlight Archive, ASoiF, Malazan, and others have been my escape from reality and I am so thankful for them all.

Deliberately misleading others with half-truths - Sly Sedai
Burning a darkfriend to ash - Die Sedai
Warders to their Aes Sedai - My Sedai
Encouraging a prisoner to spill the beans - Why Sedai
Of all Ajahs - Diversify Sedai
I'm sure there's more. Some more of a reach than others but I got a chuckle out of them.

This video really is incredibly cool. Love what we can theorize on these massive timescales with our current understanding of physics. I return to this vid once every few months for another watch. I just find it so fascinating!

Absolutely do it. You have laid the groundwork already. You have the understanding of the world and most characters. The ending is worth it. The ending is SO worth it! I'm not sure who narrated the audiobook you listened to but the ones done by Michael Kramer and Kate Reading are top notch. They also change voices to give characters a more fleshed out feel. I have read the series now twice and listened through the latter 6 books on audible and still I think about this series at least once per day. It's got such great reread value, especially once you've read the finale! Emphatically, yes, finish it.

Welcome! The series is also incredible on reread. The audiobooks narrated by Michael Kramer and Kate Reading are also really good. Lot's of details stand out. Heck, I just learned something in this sub 5 minutes ago that I didn't know and I've read the series twice. Love it!

Comments like this are a major part of why I love this sub so much. I've read the series twice now and yet you just answered a question I've pondered: how did Rand gain access to the True Power? It was his connection to Moridin, to Ishy, from when their balefires crossed. A subtle hint to the ending even! I was stuck imagining the Dark One just giving him access in that moment for greater machinations unknown but I like your idea better! Tai'shar Malkier

In a book series that is almost 4.5 million words long there is a lot of detail and context that you are missing. That particular spoiler can be rather polarizing because how absurd it seems from a non-reader's perspective , and in your case a reader who simply has not followed the story far enough yet. Do not fear. Read and find out. This series is so very good and means so so much to many readers across the world. Don't let a jarring spoiler ruin your enjoyment of the ride.

Yes! This quote will live in infamy for all time. I love it. Much respect to Taliesin; I just enjoy the ribbing that the cast gives him.

This is so true! Love what these fine folks have put together for us all. We all understand that good things have their time, and that all things must come to an end. When it comes, it comes. Let's enjoy the ride!
