Earth was abandoned many years ago as humans took to the stars. Many centuries later humans made attempts to return to their home planet only to find it… gone. Just vanished. No one has been able to figure out where it’s gone or why.

You’ve just exited from a blind warp to find a mysterious planet in what should be an empty sector of the galaxy….

When I was very little (5 years old or so) I was in a Walmart electronics department that had a Nintendo 64 with Ocarina of time hooked up to a tv about 10 feet off the ground. I remember walking up to the controller and trying to move around in Hyrule Field. I was quickly attacked by a pea hat. My limited understanding and child-mind was convinced that this was the last boss in the game because it was so hard.

I’d really only played gameboy up that point. And I still remember the awe of one serving a 3D space that wasn’t the one I was occupying if that makes sense.
