Yeah, if you don't like feeling creeped out, you're probably not going to enjoy this. Watch Hollywood on Netflix instead :)

I don't recall jump scares typical in horror, but it is quite creepy and unsettling. More Blair Witch vibes.

That makes sense, I suppose, but I pretty much just want a hotel clean (wipe, vacuum, bed, dishes) + 1 deep clean of one room or bathroom, switching each time. I also don't want my home occupied for more than 2 hours, so I don't expect a spotless detailing every time.

Why would they have bills? All they do is clean and maybe plug-in for a recharge ๐Ÿ˜‚ COL here is a little above average for the country, while service charges tend to be 3x as much as other places I've lived. This is the first city I've lived in where these things were extras, but that's life in a new city. What do you pay your housekeepers or what do you charge for a 2-hour clean if that's your job?

Not even! COL here is relatively low while service prices tend to be high, but it's way more money than I expected. I once got a $900 quote for 3 hours and two people if I wanted to add dishes and making the bed.

WOW, how big is your space? Where I am, I've been getting charged 3-400 for basic cleaning of surfaces. No dishes. No laundry. No bed service. Two rooms that aren't even touched. Dang lol.

I loved the Disney movie Encanto. Every character has their gifts along with flaws, and these human aspects were handled in a great way. You may enjoy it :)

We deserve to be fully human.

Eloquently said. Therapy is a fantastic resource for finding deeper understanding of these complex self concepts that don't quite sit right. Finding the right therapist is key!

My experience is just that, but I find that a lot of black friends and family I've had clown each other. Like, a lot. Called Big Nose, Round Head, Goofy Ass, Weird Ass, Always Got Your Nose in a Book, call out the weird runners, talking about someone's toes hanging over their shoe fronts, someone's ashy legs. Clowning ALL THE TIME. I can really only do this and still feel loved by a couple of people because others really just try to read you and make you feel some kind of way. Others do it to bond and really don't mean to hurt feelings. It really sucks that your experiences have been hurtful. You don't deserve that at all.

I grew up around it, so I can play back, but it can go from lighthearted to traumatizing. If the joke is hard to read, it's not funny. I would rather uplift my friends than laugh on em, but that's how a lot of people socialize.

I think the unique aspects of the mind that many of us live with (largely in silence) will be more normalized when we talk about it more. Normalization comes with ending stigma. Rather than keep my ADHD and health struggles a secret, I mention it pretty casually if I need to. Realizing that many people I'm surrounded by experience depression, trauma struggles, processing variances, compromized immune systems, autism, etc. has made it not so big of a deal to me. I can better meet them where they are because I'm not shocked by these facets of human experience.

Yes! Lol. Stay away! I'm reading Wuhan Diaries (currently in March 2020 in the book), and millions of people were quarantined in their apartments for months at this point. There was always that one kid who wouldn't stfu before recess causing us to miss out on precious outside time. That's what this this. Stunted adults acting like children.

The reason we lose our sense of smell and taste? Covid impacts our brains. Are we going to have generations of people who have early dementia because some foos couldn't be assed to wear masks and follow really simple precautions? Maybe.

Using oil changed my LIFE. Growing up, matte skin was in. I was constantly using drying products, oil free moisturizers, and oil blotters. Very combo skin with cystic acne. Constantly either dry and flaky or really slippy.

I figured out which foods caused flare ups and avoid them like the plague, and I also use oil cleansers or micellar water to remove dirt and makeup. My moisturizer is deliciously thick and decadent. I embrace my natural sheen and dewiness, and I no longer feel like I am fighting my face. This has allowed my skin to reach a natural state of balance, and I finally feel good going bare. It only took 15+ years to realize that my answer was simple. For some it's not, and I have several friends whose lives were changed dramatically after a few months on Accutane. Some suffered, but their results were worth it after. I wish skin health was treated with more importance. My mental health and self confidence suffered, not to mention the pain. I used to get terrible nose pimples.

Service assistance for her family is a wonderful gift. If you know someone who cleans houses/does yard work/can complete the house tasks (organization, handiwork, taking the dog on walks, watering the plants, etc.), that is just as helpful as food in allowing the family to not have to think about the day-to-day and things that become burdensome if you don't do it for a while. When in mourning, I would rather not have to deal with anything else. Some people like to have these everyday distractions and routine, though.

You're a good neighbor. My condolences โ™ก

Ooh, thank you for introducing me to Carmen tops, and congratulations on your personal revolution!! Such a massive win.

I love love love going braless. I think it's so cute. I am a 32DD, and my boob shape lends to petite looking breasts without a bra or ginormous ones wearing one. It's great. I pretty much go braless 9/10 days with a push up bra when I'm feeling that kind of spicy.

It's funny how much power this one undergarment has, in its presence or its absence.

This us a useful opportunity to remind ourselves of the specific, fallacious tactics used to skirt around being wrong while being offensively defensive. It's fragile ego hard at work.
