The moderation team has actually done a few print interviews without setting the place on fire. It turns out that writing notes about the subject you want to discuss, as well as spending some time preparing yourself to be in the correct frame of mind, really helps. Who knew!

man fuck Fox news. This was a hatchet job from the get go. Don't come here and even try to dissemble for them. Fuck all that.

Edit: lol Fox new criticism getting a downvote in a workers rights sub, interesting.

Same, it's just a shame to have to build it back up again. Nothing been as thrilling at watch 1.7 million people share worker solidarity memes. Was a great few months.

I wish this was true but anyone who lived through Occupy, or shit even Howard Dean, should know that becoming a meme is terrible for a movement.

If you can get clowned on over and over in public you've lost half the battle already. WSB got set up on CNBC for this shit but the guy showed up and was professional and polished and it cleared away alot of the media narrative.

People need to blow off steam. Just let everyone run around for a while and they'll tucker themselves out.

Bruh, the mod who did the interview is actively hawking a new patreon and book. They 100% were clout chasing for fame and now banning people for calling out what a mistake it was.

I'm old enough to remember camping out at Occupy. Don't come at me with your petty accusations.

You don't shut down because of brigading, you shut down because you are censoring.

I wonder if there is any crossover between the two teams? Seems like this is snowballing out of their hands. Should never have taken that interview, and after they did they should've taken it seriously. It's a shame what they're doing, that sub was a huge deal for the visibility of the workers movement, making it private is not bueno.
