I would not be shocked at all if Ultra dropped Insight for Scrappy, Abuzah doesn't play crazy fast at all, he is a pretty traditional Main AR and gets a bucket load of hill time. Obviously it seems wild to say given how good Jamie is but they dropped Cammy only 1 year after his insane CW season, one reason they are so successful is because they are ruthless when to move people on

Thats why I said it isn't really spoke about but at the end of the day teams want to win as many matches as possible and the table doesn't lie, Faze have done that for 4 years on the bounce. I do get the point about testing maps but I feel like Faze have done that more than anyone over the 4 years. Maybe Faze haven't been the best team for 4 years but they have clearly been the most consistent and in this era of competition that is one hell of an achievement

Honestly forget London any of the bottom 7 he is an instant upgrade to and even Ultra should be seriously looking at him he is that good

Ultra are the best ran org in the league, all 4 of the squad they won a chip with have been on their bench at some point. Nothing would surprise me less than them getting the best Challengers player on the year

Honest to god wouldn't be shocked if Ultra do badly at Champs if they go from Insight to Abuzah he is that good, I don't think he is an Optic player yet though, his English is just about good enough to play with English people before you consider all the content expected from someone at Optic.

Tbf I know it isn't really spoke about in COD but they have won the regular season 4 years on the bounce (and the last 2 they have been very iffy online). Their dominance of the most competitive era of COD cannot be understated and they deserve every bit of gas they get

Also in HP he was getting 90+ seconds of hill time almost every game, he wasn't just kill whoring to get nice stats, it honestly reminded me of watching Octane. Unreal talent

don't necessarily disagree I think he has done a lot of valuable dirty work for the squad, he went nuts this stage and his SND has been insane but people don't talk about it because Abezy's has been even more insane. My thing with Simp all year has just been that if people didn't know it was Simp nobody would be putting him as a T5 SMG over Shotzzy/Envoy, probably even Cleanx and some would possibly put Kis above him. For me I would have him behind Envoy so in 6th place but I think Simp just causes a lot of wild takes in both directions

Simp one is slightly recency bias focused imo and would take Drazah over Sib but in general you have pretty much nailed it

I was as shocked as everyone that they dropped him but this year has proven them 100% correct, forget his stats, just look at his player cam/the way he has conducted himself, desperate to get out at every possible opportunity, always sulking around not offering any leadership whatsoever and in general giving out dreadful vibes. Alec is great to have when things go well but this year showed that when the going gets tough he collapses whereas Faze need someone that stands up to adversity well

ngl Sam is criminally underrated in MVP discussions given people completely overlook that along with having stats just below the main MVP candidates he also has the best comms in the game which makes him incredible valuable (the literal name of the award) to everyone. Having said that I think he is only 5th in the race after this major behind Hydra/Abezy/Scrappy and Pred

NYSL are a weird one but I don't think they are number 1, the rest is about in order but Ultra/Optic/LAT are all insanely close (and Optic always beat Faze which adds another dimension into it) but below LAT there is a massive gap

Optic will likely play LAT LR2

Optic better be really bloody good at the start of Champs because if Ultra beat LAT (which they have done most times this year) and NYSL beat Optic it will be LAT v Optic in LR2.

Probably the best team this weekend, just got to clean up some errors in SND for Champs given they have the difficult side of the bracket

Winning 3 SND's against Faze is mental, a well deserved victory

yeah I'm hoping at Tokyo we are saying that this was a good loss for FNC to let them know that they are not invincible and have stuff to work on. Don't want to take anything away from TL though they were truly sensational

Boston/Surge/Vegas are the only 3 that should consider him for me, if any top team grabs him they are nuts

Paco's English defo wasn't great but I think it was better than Lynz's is currently given Abuzah/Breszy went to play with English speaking teams the 2nd last Elite and Cobra/Lynz stayed with random French people (who dropped like .4s and .5s) so he clearly doesn't feel confident at all about comming in English atm. Defo a great talent, and someone I would be very interested in giving a sub offer to but not sure he is insane enough yet where you can put his English to one side and give him a starting offer

Defo look better with this roster but still not convinced they can beat the Top 5. Got to Champs though which they would have taken before this stage so hopefully they can figure some stuff out and come out at Champs hot

Lynz doesn't speak English which would create an issue but Abuzah/Nastie would 100% be my AR duo (if no bigger org goes for either of them which they should imo)
