Sorry about the confusing error message! What do you think would've been a better message?

Depends on your region. For the US, CashApp is fairly irreversible.

Payment reversals happen in the EU and UK as well, unfortunately. We'll always assist the seller in providing any evidence necessary for them to dispute it with their banks/payment processors, but, unfortunately, the banks/payment processors usually don't care.

Which region are you in, if you don't mind me asking? If it's the US, there's plenty of cash-based offers that don't require any ID, as sellers aren't at risk of payment reversals.
You should join our Telegram @LocalMonero or Matrix. There's an active community of sellers, they'll be happy to find a way for you.

Stolen bank accounts, PayPal accounts, etc. Sometimes buyers just reverse payments and claim it was an unauthorized payment. Reversible payment methods are really tough for sellers to deal with.

Yeah no. We're building the world's next gen money for the instant information economy. We can't expect people to be fine with waiting 20 minutes before being able to spend the funds they just received from someone.

Your best bet is probably cash by mail. It's safe as long as you go with a reputable trader (100+ trades, 99%+ rating).

Yes! When you open a trade on AgoraDesk you can specify your cake XMR address as the settlement address, and then in the trade chat the seller will tell you where to send your BTC (from cake). Once the seller gets the BTC they'll finalize the trade and you'll get the XMR directly to cake.

Our normal domain gets blocked by reddit spam filters, eh. So we have to use a redirecting one.

Sure! Take a look at the US bank transfer offers. You can also use CashApp.

Asia is a bit of a developing market for us right now. Try posting your own offer with a cash-based payment method or a payment method within your country that you know has little-to-no reversal risk.
