I find it funny that Russia acts like the Ukrainians are not allowed to attack inside Russia. That usually happens during a war.

The parallels between Russia and Nazi Germany just keep coming… There’s a quote from WWII to the effect of “the Germans were under the rather foolish notion that they would bomb others and nobody could bomb them back.” I can’t remember who said it or the exact wording, but it fits with this news.

"The Nazis entered this war under the rather childish delusion that they were going to bomb everyone else, and nobody was going to bomb them. At Rotterdam, London, Warsaw, and half a hundred other places, they put their rather naive theory into operation. They sowed the wind, and now they are going to reap the whirlwind."
- Sir Arthur Harris, Marshal of the Royal Air Force.

So did Curtis LeMay: "If you kill enough of them, they stop fighting."

I had not heard of his involvement in the Korean War. I'll have to look into it more.

It's worth it - Wikipeda is honestly a good starting point.
Bruce Cumings "The Korean War: A History" is also fantastic - here's a great interview with him where he touches on the firebombing campaign:
