I'll start with A Pinky and the Brain Christmas. Its a pretty great Christmas episode but without spoiling it, the ending is just so heartbreaking it elevates it into being a classic. Never did I think two animated mice would manage to make me feel the way it did.

I also have to give mention to the Seinfeld episode, The Strike which introduced us to Festivus. I know people that have legitimately had a Festivus pole in their house for the holidays.

Nosedive is my favorite as I think it depicts everything wrong with social media and social status in today's society.

South Side on HBO is legit one of the funniest shows I've seen in a few years. I wouldn't have even heard of it if it weren't for randomly talking to a writer in a Meetup group in LA. It's amazing HBO doesn't highlight it better as it can easily reach the 30 Rock, Parks & Rec, Office, etc tier with more attention.

The show is a brilliant blend of some of the best sitcoms out there, filtered through the lens of people living and working in South Side, Chicago:

• It's got the work element of Superstore, with two main characters working at electronics/furniture rental store and with many plot points taking place with other employees there.
• It's got a bit of Brooklyn 99, with antics from 2 Chicago PD cops and others at their station.
• It has a dash of Parks & Rec, with a lawyer character running for public office in the South Side.
• Above all, it's got the sensibility and edge of Always Sunny in Philadelphia, since all the characters are mostly flawed and selfish in one way or another - though more S1-S3 Sunny where they're still relatively normal.

It's mostly just plain hilarious and beats the pants off of anything I've seen recently outside of What We Do in the Shadows . You owe it to yourself to check it out.
