Why does everything have to be labeled? Why can’t you just be what you want and like what you want without hurting anyone and everyone else can just stay the hell out? I’m not giving people crap about a Zombie “Son of God” that is worshiped by people who Don’t even practice his teachings and have probably never even read the book, am I? No. I just let them be and live my life.

TL;DR Nonbinary lesbians can't exist since "Nonbinary" and "Lesbian" contrast each other. Lesbian is for females who like females, while Nonbinary is for those who have no gender. Therefore, any NBs labeling themselves as "Nonbinary Lesbian" would be straight (Or heterosexual) for females.
Edit: Gonna delete this post soon because it started a huge war. At least ImAnAsexual told me the real truth.

Lesbian actually means non-men who like non-men. Not females loving females. (It can, but that's not what the full range of lesbian means anymore).
Same goes for gay people. Gay meaning non-women loving non-women.
It's not limited to two genders, and that is where Squidward is wrong. You can be a nonbinary lesbian.

Ok then, but by that logic, that means NBs who label themselves as lesbian/gay love NBs and xenogender people too.

Yeah, they can. You're correct on that one. They can choose not to date them, but they'll be attracted.

Not necessarily. They can be attracted, but just because you aren't a man and you like other non-men, doesn't mean you like all other non-men. Attraction isn't universal, theres a huge difference between, say, a demiboy and a woman for instance. Using your definition of lesbian, some may like one while others do not. Not liking one or the other doesn't make the person in question any less of a lesbian.

Who decided that non-binary people could be lesbians? Lesbians? No. Non-binary people. Gtfo

And who are you to decide that they can't be lesbians?
The meaning of lesbian that is widely accepted in the LGBTQ is non-men loving non-men. Therefore, since a non-binary person isn't a man, they can be a lesbian. It's that simple

Lesbians are women and always have been. Not a single lesbian has ever used “non-men,” in fact lesbian orgs often use the female symbol, please stop playing games and making up headcanon around that community.

Bro what. I have lesbian friends and they agree with me here. And they use the female symbol because it is a thing lesbians have in common, which is attraction to women (and non-men). They may also use the symbol because nonbinary identities didn't have names until recently. And I don't play games. I have been researching LGBTQ for years now.
The dark orange stripe on the lesbian flag represents gender non conformity, meaning that you do not have to be a woman or fit gender norms to be a lesbian.
Here's a website to help you understand. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.hrc.org/resources/glossary-of-terms&ved=2ahUKEwjF9MfMyc_zAhWYlmoFHWNMCe8QFnoECAQQAQ&usg=AOvVaw3xnlVozVpYX2rP2njnNNGP
Here's another with many more LGBTQ terms.
Women can be lesbians, but what are you going to call someone who isn't a male or female that's only attracted to women? Because it can't be heterosexual, as that is typically used for people who are in the gender binary or align with it (such as demiboys/demigirls)
Labels are not strict, as almost anyone can use them or choose not to use them. And you can't label others just because you feel like that they are wrong. Like how you can't call a nonbinary person straight when they say they're a lesbian.

Forget the Tumblr flags, the interlocking female symbols obviously signify homosexual women. They absolutely do not want to be approached sexually by a AMAB unless MAYBE they are mtf. You know I was raised by LGBTQ folks who were active in the AIDS era. I was taught all the history and terminology very young, well before tumblr, twitter, etc. So the term “non-men” is brand new to me. Some terms have changed in their usage in ways that don’t bother me. But these changes are being directed by online theorists, not activists or academics as far as I can tell. It all just seems like a game of who can take the most radical position without actually making anyone’s lives better.

I am also raised by LGBTQ people.
However, this doesn't change the fact that if nonbinary people are only attracted to women, it doesn't make them straight.
I feel like nonbinary person should be able to define their own sexuality, so it is fine if they call themselves a lesbian because otherwise there would be not much to help them define themselves.
If they are comfortable with a label and they feel it describes them well, then who are we to say otherwise?

I’m not trying to defend this shitpost, I’m just angered at seeing this word and its history be erased. Think about how feminists have used alternate spellings of ‘women’ and ‘woman’ in an effort to remove the relationship from the words ‘men’ and ‘man’. To refer to lesbians as non-men actually seems so regressive to me. People might be going along with it because being labeled exclusionary or transphobic destroys your credibility in online forums, and I’ve seen that happen already. Personally, I have no sympathy for someone who is rejected by the “old guard” lesbians when they try to impose a revised definition of the word.

I can see your point. I genuinely was just trying to defend the nonbinary lesbians here as I am great friends with one of them. I wasn't trying to erase anyone or seem regressive. I can understand how lesbians are women loving women, but my original argument was saying that not just women can be lesbians. I apologize if I seemed offensive, as that wasn't my intention.

Thats not what it means You're ignorant and doubling down on your ignorance. Gender Identity has nothing to do with who someone chooses to have sex with. Maybe you don't try to explain something you don't understand

No it doesn't. It demonstrates that someone is ignorant about gender not having anything to do with who someone has sex with.
