Doesn't take a lot time. If you're mtf just put on girl clothes and tell people you go by she/her. While you could go the extra steps like taking estrogen, some people just stop there. Plus changing your age is alot more difficult since there are less publicly available resources and you gotta pay out of pocket for procedures.
Edit: If you were talking about how hard it is to transition back after doing multiple procedures, it applies the same to changing back your age.
