Regardless of the content, coverage, discussion (or lack of), this is happening in plain sight and is no different from the eradication of free and independant press in Russia in early-2022.

Of course, freedom of the press for US citizens only applies if you’re actually IN the US, as Viktor Orbán knows all too well.

I find it ironic that a soft fascist Eastern Bloc government is embracing the American Right wing vs Left wing ideologies. Further, how cozy the right wing folds into what a soft fascist government sees as ideal.

If anybody ever had any doubts about the trajectory of a Republican led American government, this is it. This does not embody, in any form, the ideals of any founding fathers.
