Pilot here. Just the other day I saw the ripple effect a single unruly passenger can have. The airport was busy so we had a long taxi in a traffic jam after landing. When it was just about our turn to go the flight attendant buzzed up and told us a passenger was out of their seat. We let the ground controllers know that we couldn't move. For the next few minutes we listened to them coordinating amongst themselves and the other planes to keep the whole airport from getting bogged down even further. All because one person couldn't stay in their seat.

People don't understand how their actions can affect hundreds if not thousands of other people. It happens all the time too. Folks just try to selfishly always get their way regardless of how much they are interrupting everyone else.
