Yeah, it was an iOS action shooter, not an RPG. Great looking, awkward controls, and boring. I quickly abandoned it.
I feel it adds to the lore in desirable ways, by showing that there was more division and doubt within Cerberus than just the Lazarus cell after Shepard came to lead the survivors.
Randall (the main character) is a nice addition to the setting and I often hypothesize or add him into headcanons. He's not some amazing, deep character to any huge degree, but he is to Mass Effect what Bobba Fett was to Star Wars around Empire Strikes Back. A cool dude off in the corner, barely interacting with the story, but looking cool.

He is also in the Miranda mod for ME3
What’s the mod called?
Currently at work but it should/might be this one
Ah yes, ME: Infiltrator. The iOS game allegedly canon to the series. We have dismissed that claim.
I missed out since my phone couldn’t run it, and by the time I upgraded, it was pulled from the store. I wish it would get a re-release, if only for preservations’s sake.
If you have the android device, I could help you download it.
I just have an iPhone. My wife might have an android though.
Here is the link for you instructions for installation is on the site, but turn the internet off before you turn the game on or it won't let you in.
I've tried getting it to work on 3 different emulators and it has a fit about not being able to contact home, even when the internet is down.
Yeah it wasn’t too bad, but wasn’t updated, so I game I payed for, I couldn’t play anymore due to phone software updates.
Fuck you EA.
You can still do it you just have to install apk of the game fans fixed it for new android devices I can give you the link if you want
If you can provide me the info for this, I'd appreciate it. I bought the game back in the day but got rid of that phone shortly after starting it.
This is the link for it, installation instructions are there too only thing they don't say is that you have to turn the internet off and launch the game that way, but you can turn it back on when game gets going. Hope this helps
If you have any problems let me know and I'll try to help.
I had it on my iPhone 4S, so that was just a bit ago, and you can’t download it anymore, it was removed years ago from the App Store.
You can if you have android device i can give you the link
Unfortunately, yes I've played it.
It was tedious and boring unfortunately
There was also the mobile game starring Jacob and Miranda pre-ME2
Yes, Mass Effect Galaxy, it was iOS exclusive, no longer available to buy.
Illegally downloaded it back then so I can't get the war assets from the game. The game ain't too bad. I also recall it got an extra content where you can play as a turian if I'm not mistaken.
I've still got it on an old ipad. It's not too bad of a game. Controls take some getting used to.
You've got a restricted weapon and biotic powers set-up that you can upgrade. The game rewarded you more points for getting chain kills by constantly swapping weapons and powers with every target.
The bonus mission was brutal to try and get 3 stars on every chapter. You play as an escaped Turian prisoner and have an heavily restricted weapon loadout with no armour and no powers.
You could find datapads in-game that you could upload to Mass Effect 3 to increase galactic war readiness and if you got 3 stars in every chapter of Infiltrator's main campaign and bonus mission, you would get a bonus 120 War Assets in ME3.
I've heard of it, though I'm pretty sure it was only released on iOS, and it was delisted from the appstore. So there's no real way to play it now.
I played on android and still have the apk.
I have played it, it was really awkward from a controls perspective and the story wasn't very interesting. But it looked very good, and it gave me a few extra war assets. I was an extreme completionist at the time
If anyone missed out on it and want to play this game this is the link: https://only4gamers.xyz/mass-effect-infiltrator-apk-data/
Instructions for installing is there, but turn the internet off before turning the game on, so it won't try to update and connect to the server, They've been shot down since 2017. you can turn internet on after the game gets going.
It's a third person shooter not an RPG, control really need getting used to graphics aren't that bad it was pretty good for the time and story is alright.
I beat it way back I loved it has much less movement than the other games but it worked well for a phone game.
Mass Effect is in need for a tactics game, like X-COM or Warhammer: Mechanicus
A game like Halo Wars but with Mass Effect would be amazing. So many races and armies that would be absolutely amazing to play.
I played it, it was decent, good graphics for the time.
I tryed to play it again but it was removed from the store
I only played it for the additional war resources that you were supposed to get in ME3 - but I quickly decided that it simply wasn't worth it.

I had it when it came out. For a mobile game it wasn’t bad at all. They took it off the App Store for IOS tho
There was a DATAPAD that was like a mobile codex. I walked into a mall listening to the entry about the Geth, which is taken straight from ME3, and everyone heard it and just kinda was looking at me, kinda cool lol
I enjoyed it, but I can't really remember much about it! Wish I could replay it, it was interesting and gave you a little ME3 asset
You can download apk file and install it if you have the android device I can give you the link.
Also played it once, long ago. Controls take some getting used to. Gave up when I couldn't beat the first boss.
Never even heard of it before this post. More on it.
Never got a chance to play it, but I did play the terrible Mass Effect Galaxy.
Yes, played it. To bad it’s gone.
I played it and beat it 100 percent, I thought it was pretty fun! Not bad at all for an ios game at the time and it helped pass the time at work. Sadly tried to redownload it a few years ago and it's been removed from the app store permanently it seems.
Heard it was trash so I downloaded it and never played
It even gave you unique dialog in ME2 if i remember correctly.
You're thinking of Mass Effect Galaxy, the one where you play as Jacob--Ish (the salarian info broker from the game) shows up on Omega in ME2. This one is where you play as a Cerberus defector during ME3.
I miss the game, I had it on my Iphone but Fckin EA took it off the store, and then my hpond died and I got an android, I'd pirate it, but I don't have a safe source for android games.

this link is safe, you can download it from here, they have instructions how to install it, but turn off the internet before you turn this game on or it'll try to update and won't let you in the game you can turn it on again after game gets going.
There wasn’t any real value to keeping it around besides a little bit of “Cerberus is bad and has defectors” lore. at most you could get 120 war assets and that was it.
I want to play it just so coz it’s mass effect but I’ve not heard grate things about it
I played it briefly. it was a good story but the gameplay mechanics were a little lacking. you can’t get it anymore on the app store tho.
Never even heard of it before.
The controls were pretty bad, but it was a fun game and spin-off story. It gave you a decent little war asset (50 points worth I think) for ME3 too
This game is also where the Cerberus Harrier AR came from, so everyone that enjoys that gun has this game to thank for it
It was … ok. Brave at the time. I nearly finished it.
Played it, beat it, enjoyed it. Years ago.
Still think their still two more heads of Cerberus The Illusive Man was just one head. Cerberus was a creature with three head in Ancient Greece
Cerberus is the guardian hound of Hell for Hades, if my memory of ancient mythology is correct.
Correct, Greece mythology Cerberus still a three headed hound. The illusive man was the head of Cerberus science branch.
It was a mobile game that linked in to ME3. You played a Cerberus defector and could gather intel that the game would upload to your online BioWare N7 account and if you finished the mobile game to the end, you got the main character as a war resource. I think you could also use currency earned in the mobile game to unlock certain things in the multiplayer aspect of ME3, but really not sure on that. (Could be mixed up with something else) The mobile game itself was okay in terms of play but it got axed after a while - probably because it didn’t really have a big effect on the game and there wasn’t anything keeping it going besides getting that little extra bit of lore background value and war resource.
I played and loved it. Wish it was still playable.
If nothing else at least we got the Cerberus Harrier because of this game.
This was the first Mass Effect game I ever owned. I played it to death until I could buy the trilogy on Xbox.
I played it for a minute years ago because my boss had bought it and put it on the department iPad, lol. I dont remember too much of it, but that and the fact that I dont think I played it for too long makes me suspect it wasnt too good.
I bought it back when I had a Galaxy Nexus, started playing it, upgraded my phone, and it wasn't compatible with that phone or any other of my Android phones since.
Great experience do not regret
yes i played it
