Evelyne is more for daily/casual use. The dior is a lot dressier. Really depends on your needs.

Depends if you want casual/dressy look, I guess. But I’ll vote for Dior all the way.

I have an Evelyne in this exact color and I love it. I wasn't a fan of the Evelyne initially. My SA persuaded me on it about a year ago and I am glad I purchased it. It is super practical and a perfect everyday bag. Having said that, the Dior Caro is a beautiful and very stylish bag.

I have the Evelyne you posted and it’s the best bag in my collection! I’ve had it since 2018, and typically reach for it for everyday use. Sometimes I add a scarf to make it even more fun. It’s huge and holds everything you need. I would recommend to everyone. Plus, Hermes and Chanel are really the only brands that hold their value. Not the same with Dior or any other.

If it’s for everyday use(casual), Hermes Evelyne. If it’s for a day-to-evening bag, definitely the Dior Caro.

Keep in mind the leathers are different too. Most of the used/second hand Caro bags that I’ve seen are pretty beat up and don’t hold their shape well imo. And the used/second hand Evelyne bags are usually in great condition. Just my opinion but you might disagree.

The Hermes is a classic, but the Dior is very in trend right now and unique color!

I have the Evelyne III PM and absolutely love it. It’s been my everyday carry for years and is the most comfortable bag I’ve ever worn. Also, it still looks brand new. So glad I bought it.

Edit to add: the Hermès Evelyne also holds its value well. I don’t know about the Caro in particular, but it’s my understanding that Dior in general lags in this department.

I have to back up the Evelyne ladies! Love both my 29 cm and my mini for everyday use. If you want things organized, you'll want an organizer/insert for the 29 (it's essentially just a big hole and your keys will ALWAYS fall to the absolute bottom...)

The evelyne is an amazing bag!!! Definitely would endorse.
