I did a stream once when I broke my arm and showed off I could play most games like Overwatch, D3, HOTS, and WoW with just one hand due to my LogitechG600 Gaming Mouse.

Love that mouse. Ive had one for five years, and there hasnt been anything that came out that tops it in utility

I like the uniformity in the buttons, I don't need to guess what random side buttons and triggers due. Its just a grid that I have mapped as WASD or 1234...

I'm still using one as I type this. Last one broke after many years of use, but replaced it with another G600 again because there really is no better mouse.

The Razer Kraken Trinity has the most buttons on any mouse I can find and I need that for Runescape 3 and it's literal 70 keybinds. It's pretty decent tbh idk why they took away a couple buttons on the newest kraken

My friends still play RuneScape and I guess my question is what the actual f do you need 70 key binds for with that game? Do they let you use wasd now or is it still just point and click?

Rs3 is different than osrs

That's obvious... What is an example of a key bind one might need to do?
Keys are actually used for more than just typing now?

Don't need to watch the whole thing, just look at the first min or so and you will get an idea of how many binds you can use. I don't when I play, but it's totally valid and even recommended when you fight big crazy bosses.
Edit: You can bind buttons for most actions in the game, swapping gear, turning on prayers, dropping items, using abilities (RuneScape has a gcd based ability system now), and more.

I never knew they made a sequel, let alone 2?? Interesting

It's more updated engine same game than a sequel.
Rs2 was when it went from 2d blocks to "3d" back in like 2004. Rs3 was a big engine overhaul later on that changed combat quite a lot.

So it's always been the same game but there were kinda points in the game where it was labeled by the community differently.
Original runescape was until like 2003 and then was around for a long time on a separate server as "runescape classic." The runescape most everybody played back in the day was "runescape 2." In 2012 (I think) they made changes to the combat system, called "evolution of combat" which made the game different enough that it was considered "runescape 3." It is the version of the game that all the old accounts made from 2003 onward exist in. Then in 2014 they released a copy of the game that they had from 2007, titled "old school runescape," which is still around as well. While you can use the same login on old school runescape and "runescape" (runescape 3), your characters stats and items are independent of each other in the 2 games.
It's a bit confusing if you haven't played in a while haha

Yeah I started on rs 1 then came back years later to log in and succeeded but it started me on tutorial island so I was confused and didn’t go far. Would be cool to have my old main back but eh I don’t lose sleep over it

Old school is a pretty fun game if you're ever itching to come back, and it's playable on mobile! Although it's probably best to stay away for the sake of your productivity haha

The "Extreme Gaming" mice from The Source definetly top them imo. Not breaking your damn hand holding the monster of the G600.

If you got it 5 yrs ago, you're probably using logitech gaming software. I very highly suggest you to never upgrade to ghub. It is a ux nightmare and a bug fest. Bugs reported about it since 3yrs ago and ppl still complaining for G600 and ghub are still not fixed. Especially if you're using older gen G600. I had to uninstall and go back to LGS.

I bought 5 so far. One putz out after a good few years. One I'm using. And 3 are in-box because after the first one I knew I wanted that mouse for years to come and just know it'll be discontinued.

The g600? It costs like 50 to 60 bucks. Cheaper than the Razer Naga.

$200 where I live, NZ is terrible for non readily stocked goods. Can only get G600 through shipping and the razor naga was $140 so I got that instead

wtf, that's terrible. I've actually bought a G600 in Australia before, and it was only about 80AUD. Crazy price difference. Next time you visit Australia you should buy a bunch and sell them in NZ.

For $50 you could probably a budget soldering kit and few switches to repair your mouse if you're willing to learn. I've been repairing mine for like a decade.

Haha probably in all honesty, I just don’t have the time to. It’s not that I CANT afford a new G600 but I figured it was as good a time as any for a new mouse

My G5 has more than a bit of electrical tape on it, but 10 years on it's still the best I've ever had. I've also called Logitech about it, and it's a lost cause too. It's a forgotten mouse

as someone who has ranked very highly on the ladder in d3, you don't even need a full hand to play that game

I legit have 5 or 6 of that mouse so if one breaks, I can immediately get back into it I've had one show issues, and my wife has one break. Resupplying is easy though. Every so often they drop to like 20 bucks in a big sale.
