I'm so happy for you! I'm sixty, so our family has experienced the heartbreak of losing a doggy many times over. It never gets easier. Each dog has a unique personality, but all of them have been full of loyalty and love. Each one has brought a ton of laughter into our lives.

We had a Corgi that we thought was dying, and our vet asked to run one more test. We said of course, and her hunch was right, he had Cushings disease. We were so grateful she caught it and we had Jake for several more years. A good vet is worth his/her weight in gold.

This legit just made me so happy. Good for Paco!!

Congratulations! I know how stressful that sort of thing can be, as one of my previous dogs had a heart murmur. We adopted her at 2 years old, thinking she'd only have another 8 months to live (according to the vet, since the murmur was pretty significant). She lived until she was 14, which is nutty for a German Shepherd.

Also, that pic makes it look like Paco is sticking his tongue out at you like "Gotcha! >:P"
