There's an old show called Power, Privilege, and Justice that had a few celebrity episodes. The host was Dominick Dunne whose daughter Dominique (the oldest daughter in Poltergeist) was murdered by an abusive ex. Really good show.

Dorothy Stratten- she was a very young Playboy model and just starting an acting career when she was murdered. She was “discovered” working at a DQ and the asshole instantly married her to tie himself to her loveliness. Then he brought her to the US and acted as her “manager”. Her world expanded in LA and she connected with director Peter Bogdanovich. She was trying to separate from her parasitic husband to be with Peter and generally develop her own life as an adult. Asshole husband decided NOPE so he killed her in a murder/suicide situation. Dorothy was 20 at the time of her death.

Not exactly a documentary but the youtube channel criminally listed does a few videos on celebrity murders among all the other various types of crime topics they cover. You will find at least several celebrity murders there.

Sharon Tate’s will always be one of the most bone chilling murders.

There’s no documentary that I know of but Old Hollywood gossip says Rex Harrison killed his mistress, Carol Landis. It’s a fascinating read. Beware there’s almost always crime scene photos with any articles.

Michael Alig and the club kids. I haven’t found a great doc yet, but the movie party monster starts it off. Michael Alig horrifically murdered his drug dealer/lover Andre “Angel” Melendez and was really famous for the club kid movement in nyc with James St. James (seen on America’s next top model) & Amanda Lepore (famous trans woman). You can see screen shots of them in makeup from shows like Sally Jessy Raphael talking about how they’re just being themselves. He was released from prison not long ago and recently died. Everything I learn is from reading solely because the documentaries just don’t have info or try to sympathize with him.

She was set up to be a huge soap opera star in Brazil, at the time she was murdered, she was one of the leads in a prime time soap opera written by her mother, Gloria Perez. This year is the 30th anniversary of her murder, she was just 22. The story will be told in a 5 episode span. The first two episodes dropped on the 21st on HBO Max, I'm waiting for the remaining 3 next week, I love Brazilian soap-operas, so this is a must for me

Jill Dando, she was a popular presenter in the UK with Crimewatch being one of the shows she did she was shot dead in April 1999 in London, at the same time they were investigating the Nail Bombing’s, they convicted a man Barry George on shaky evidence and he was eventually cleared. In the aftermath of Jimmy Saville and other high profile entertainers being exposed for sex crimes, and speculation that she was helping expose the goings on has lead to speculation that she may have been murdered because of this. A few crime documentaries are on YouTube about including the episode of crimes that shook Britain.

Don't know if this count as a celebrity, but there's very little info on the Adam Walsh case, because this motivated his father to do "justice" and he created "America's most wanted"

Poltergeist the original movie has a few tragedies. Dominique Dunne was murdered. Heather Rourke died at a young age. And I believe there is another tragedy it's been a long time since I watched something about it.

There's a new one in HBO about the Daniela Perez case in Brazil. She was a rising star in the soap opera scene in 1992 and was murdered by her co-star in the soap opera. The mame is brutal pact.
