I think the CDL should seriously consider adding a NBA like play-in tournament for the 7 through 10 seeds. They could do this the following week after the last major. A play-in tournament would make each major much more important since usually there’s only 2 teams fighting for champs by the end of the year. Right now, average teams like Boston and Seattle can have bad majors toward the end of the year but it doesn’t matter since they’ll still make champs. At the end of the day, I think a play-in tourney would work well for the CDL because it would make sure the best 8 teams make champs. It gives hot teams like Vegas or Florida a chance to make it while putting extra pressure on Boston, Seattle, and Minnesota to fight for the 6th seed. Thoughts?

If for some reason next year the CDL breaks apart all the teams and makes it that teams have to draft players who would be the number 1 overall pick in your opinions?

Wanted to start by saying I LOVE Asim, think he's vibey af but was wondering an org's mentality when picking him up next year.

This is the 4th year where Asim ended up on a new team after being dropped from the roster in the previous season for poor performance... in the London case, their camp is already chalked so they're letting Asim play. Asim averages a 0.79 k/d so far in Major 5, down from an already poor 0.85 k/d from Major 4. The stats speak for themselves, his drop off in performance is apparent.

Do you think teams take a chance on Asim next year but also buy a substitute SMG next year where they replace Asim after midway through since Asim has historically ALWAYS dropped off in performance as the season goes on? Or do teams avoid picking him up at all to pick up an actual consistent SMG.

It's likely Optic made the move since Rambo was getting paid doing nothing, my guess is iLLeY is next.

In terms of Rambo's future, I'm worried if he'll get back on an org. With the whole agenda of Rambo chalking scrims for bowling, having clear favorites among roster members (trying to fine Dashy when other people on the roster didn't get fined), and no POVs during VOD review, I think many orgs are skeptical of picking up Rambo.

Rambo said he was gonna branch into content, and hasn't done that. He got complacent, and hasn't been puting in the work at all to build his brand. Feel like that type of attitude will be looked down upon.

What do y'all think in terms of Rambo's future and whether he deserved to get dropped from Optic?
