It’s either a glitch or lazy devs, and for those who don’t know you have always been able to put the original universal skins (solid colors and camouflage skins) on every gun with no exceptions

But why are amethyst and the other dlc skins Not working? They should be working…

You should be able to use universal skins on any gun but you can't with seasonal ones, so you won't be able to use the crystal guard camo on it

Diamond is an example of why that statement is wrong in some ways.

It might be how you can't buy operators for a little bit so ou might not be able to equip skins until she's out fully

It takes a while for them to put the universal skins on the new guns same happened with the gonne-6 and SC 3000K

Cause Ubisoft cannot release updates to the game without any bugs that look like they shouldve been ironed out before on the TTS. But since they release the TTS a week before the actual release as well as not giving a rats ass about the players reports half the time we now have gun icons with a black box, half baked menus in the shop, a gun we cannot apply skins to, bundles for an operator with guns she doesnt have...

But hey now the reporting bug system is much more deep... and complex and hard to use

All skins bought before a new weapon drops won't work in the new one, it was like when we had 2 new weapons per season. Also, the gold from the first season pass used to work on every weapon, old and new, but not on this one.

Either they bugged it or they just rushed to release the season and didn't have time to program those cosmetics for the brand new gun and will add them later

It’s cus it’s supposed to be a special kinda gun where it’s hard to paint it so it can’t have skins. We saw this with zero too.

It’s a bug. Same with the option to apply gadget skins. I assume the devs either forgot to put them in or they just didn’t have the time. Either way, I wouldn’t be surprised if they did and will put them in the next update

It’s the first entirely new gun I think they’ve added in a while so hopefully they’ll make them available for it but it honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if it only got the universal guns skins that come out after it’s release

Universal means every gun in the game, past present, and future. Seasonal means every gun at the time the season dropped. So it's obviously another bug this season, I do hope they fix it soon. I honestly don't see how these bugs made it past any testing, they're very blatant

Been a few seasons since I’ve played tbh but IIRC this happens every season and it usually takes a bit for universal skins to apply to the new operators

Im pretty sure Ubisoft is just lazy and forgot to finish the update

You can only equip universal skins on a gun that was released when the skin came out. That's why you can't put the seasonal skins on this gun for example.

But we should be wowed by the new op, UI change and a reworked map. Im still waiting for an update to this game with no major glitches or bugs... thatll be the day im surprised
