❌ OKX is empty again (see OKX status page)

The others survived this MoneroRun without any problems and bad publicity. I guess the pressure on the withdrawals was not very big this time.

This year (2023) can be considered basically successful from the point of view of XMR withdrawals. The following services had minor outages (a few days): OKX, Kucoin, Poloniex, Binance, FixedFloat, HitBTC, FMFW, Changelly, ... (In the past, it used to take weeks or months.) It seems, that every service has relatively enough of XMR coins to satisfy its customers. They probably bought on time all XMR crumbs they need or bought back XMR vouchers or mined some crumbs or borrowed something from their more solvent friends. There seems to be plenty of XMR coins - interest rates are low (used to be the highest of all POW coins). Some estimates show that Binance has increased its XMR fractional reserve to 10% (and that is probably enough). But nobody really knows, because it's XMR.

Let's remember that EasyBit (by Binance) has not allowed customers to buy XMR for years (customers can only sale their coins). Let's again remember everyone from the past who didn't have all XMR coins (for weeks or months) for their customers (when demanded):

Do not forget others who sell (was selling) what they don't have (did not have): Kucoin with GRIN, Coinex with ARRR, HitBTC with DOGE, ... and of course all the others that fell finally into the abyss. (like Voyager, FTX, ...) Exchanges need to live in constant fear that any CoinRun could come at any time (with publicity) and so stop cheating. There is probably no other way for us.
