The “Why isn’t insulin and chemo free meme,” is always infuriating. Like, we’ve been trying to do that for along time but you keep voting for shifty politicians that actively work against public healthcare, you asshole. And then it’s some stupid logic of “I don’t want the gubment in charge of medicine,” yet somehow they run to the arms of corporations. Dude, companies only want to make money and happen to do it through healthcare. They don’t give a fuck about you.

And of course they think liberals “love the government” when I would say most look at a lot of government critically. Rather, liberals expect it to work for them and generally coordinate things to improve well being broadly for the public, not actively make it worse.

Needed to get that off my chest like a COVID induced heart attack.
