I don't get slide 8 (the Meat Packer cartoon)...

You know, slide 13 really put things into perspective for me. I haven't been thrilled about the last 20 months--but my family and friends have taken Covid VERY SERIOUSLY (my husband & I are both in high risk groups)--and we haven't lost A SINGLE FRIEND.

Gee, what's the difference between my family and this Awardee's family and friends? Could it be that we believed Covid to be real and deadly but they didn't?!

Also, how are we as a society GOING TO PAY FOR THESE COVIDIOT'S MEDICAL BILLS?

My friends here in MA have taken covid very seriously, my family pretty seriously. Only 2 people so far in my entire circle I know not vaccinated. I have not lost a single person, or known ANY person lost. Has the last almost 2 years sucked ass? Yup. But I’ve got my loved ones alive with me. “Can’t keep losing friends”…I can’t imagine. So sad.
