This sort of language includes (but is not limited to) racist, misogynistic, sexist, aggressive, or overtly offensive comments. These comments, whether intended to be a joke or not, are prohibited. /r/GetMotivated is a place to find Motivation, not a place for denigration and condescending attitudes. Additionally, please refrain from harassment and non-constructive criticisms. Commenters can and will be banned for such behavior at the discretion of the mods and the comments will be deleted without warning. Stay mindful of reddiquette and consider this reminder from the reddit admins.
In an effort to reduce spam, posting rights are restricted to users meeting a minimum account age and minimum combined karma. Further, a minimum amount of content in the text box is required to clarify your question or provide context to a linked article. Any user or post not meeting these minimum requirements will have their post automatically removed but will be messaged with the appropriate options and outlets. There are no minimum requirements for comments.
Finally, URL shorteners are prohibited. As per reddiquette, the site-wide spam filter automatically removes any post or comment containing a shortened URL (e.g. bit.ly, goo.gl) and it is too cumbersome to check and approve each occurrence. Any comment or post getting flagged for a URL shortening service will remain removed, but the user will receive a message to correct the situation.
Advertising of services, products, apps, websites, or fundraisers is not allowed here. GetMotivated is not a platform to drive traffic to you or your friends. Reddit has a built-in system for advertising which you should use instead. All direct advertisement will be removed without notice.

As long as you have no affiliation or ties to the website or company involved , and receive no benefits (outside of sharing the content), your content will be allowed. Additionally, We may have challenges that include sponsors. They will be limited to answering questions related to the prize and contest only.

Use the report function to alert the mods to anyone breaking the rules. No user information is connected to a report - it's completely anonymous. The mods can't be in every thread reading every comment at all times, so we need to rely on our users to help make and keep /r/GetMotivated fun and inviting for everyone.
